Good King Jehoshaphat of Judah was open to a peaceful restoration of the entire nation of Israel, and rightly believed that the desolation of Israel could only be ended by a restoration of relationship with YHVH. In the following succession of the kings of Judah and Israel the kings of Israel are listed first to minimize the repetition of who is king of which nation.

From I Kings 15-16

• There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
• And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
  • And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa son of Abijam, and Baasha of the house of Issachar, conspired against him and reigned in his stead, he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed.
• And there was war between Asa and Baasha all their days during which Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures and sent them to Benhadad / son of the god of war king of Syria to pay him to attack and desolate Israel for him, after which Israel could only afford to fight amongst themselves.
  • Elah the son of Baasha reigned over Israel two years
  • Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was drinking himself drunk and killed him and was made king by his army. He reigned seven days during which he slew all the house of Baasha.
  • Omri, the captain of the host, followed by all Israel, besieged Zimri, who, when he saw that the city was taken, burnt the king’s house over him with fire, and died. Then half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri in battle, Tibni died
  • Omri reigned twelve years. And he bought the hill of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built the city which he named after the owner of the hill, Samaria. Omri walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
• And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

 “Jehoshaphat the son of Asa came down to the king of Israel and Ahab said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.”

The second strategy to unite two nations is intermarriage between royal dynasties, practiced since the Late Bronze Age to

• avoid the inevitable border conflicts
• promote peace and trade between nations
• secure a military alliance against a third dynasty,
• provide a legal claim of inheritance to expand into the allied territory whenever the allied monarch failed to leave an undisputed heir.

1. “Ahaziah Jehoram’s son was 22 years old when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.” (II Kings 8:24-26)
2. “Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah was 42 years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.” (II Chronicles 22:21-23)

Whoa! Mistake!!! Therefore proving the Bible is not infallible and not the inerrant word of God!

Only bias immediately jumps to a desired conclusion. It is beyond belief that this was a copying error missed by the multitude of scribes and translators over thousands of years.

At this point this is an inconsistency. And inconsistencies are the best clues to uncovering the truth by psychiatric providers and homicide detectives, so this is where it’s important to investigate instead of discard.

The biblical account of the fall of the house of Ahab meets the high standards of any episode of Game of Thrones. I dare you to be bored with this historical account.

We have more records on Ahab and Jezebel than on any other kings besides David and Solomon for a reason. Jezebel is readily acknowledged to be the prototypical religious Whore of Babylon who rides / controls the political Beast during the greatest tribulation ever, driving God’s people to quit playing church and seriously seek a saving relationship with him. Many Israelites fled pagan Israel south to YHVHist Judah, as documented when King Josiah celebrates Passover for the first time in many generations with all Judah and Israel that were present.” (II Chronicles 35:17)

“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” (Genesis 49:10)

Melchizedekian King Hezekiah, guided by the prophet Isaiah, demonstrates one episode of this prophecy coming to pass before its final fulfillment, which has not yet happened.

“And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the Lord God of Israel…they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem…saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria…Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

For if ye turn again unto the LORD your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

So the posts passed from city to city…they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them. Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem…And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced. So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.” (II Chronicles 30)

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant.

1. as in the days of old (this can only be the years prior to the flood: Job 8:8; Isaiah 46:9-10),
2. and as in former years (prior to the exile to Babylon).

^“Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the LORD God, and his Spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Isra-el / Prince of God [who pre-existed the bestowing of this title onto Jacob]; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” (Isaiah 48:16-17)

This covenant is none other than granting dominion over the earth to God’s Melchizedek.

“And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. For I am the LORD, I change not…Even from the days of your fathers [Adam, Shem, Eber, Abraham, etc.) ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3)

Throughout all ages the elite have never stopped identifying themselves with the “glorious” pagan theocracies whose splendor is a tribute to the evil gods who empowered them to slaughter in endless wars and amass wealth through, pillage, enslavement of the masses, and impoverishment of other peoples through theft of their resources. Humanism is simply the modern term for Luciferianism’s “I will!”

The clearest support that Moses re-established a ministry to serve a holy God under his Melchizedek rather than a brand-new religion is the consistent pattern documented in scripture of mankind falling away into apostasy followed by consistent response of God’s prophets RE-minding and RE-introducing the original way to approach a holy God,

This is documented in the books of the prophets from Genesis through Malachi, but provided in greatest detail in the account of Ezra who, like Moses, led an exodus, this time from Babylonian exile.

Israeli philosopher and Biblical scholar Yehezkel Kaufmann said “With the exile, the religion of Israel comes to an end and Judaism begins.”

Arab and Jewish sources show that the Rosh Galut / Exil-arch / legitimate Son of David ruler of the Exiles continued to exist for another 1,500 years in what is now Iraq, only ending in the eleventh century.

The Jews of the vassal state of Israel had a position similar to the exilarch, the nasi (“prince”), which was at times recognized by the Roman government. In fact, Rabbi Yehuda Ha-nasi, “Judah the Prince” (c. 135 CE–217 CE), remarked that if the exilarch Mar Huna were to come to Israel, he would accord him great honor, but he would not relinquish the office of the nasi.

And didn’t that happen when the Sanhedrin refused to relinquish their office to the legitimate Son of David, but before that when they trusted in their political alliance with the Roman Empire’s appointed king to remain in power.

Herod endowed his realm with massive fortresses for security and splendid cities for elegant civilization. 

In other words, he was a billionaire real estate developer.

• The port of Caesarea Palaestinae on the coast between Joppa (Jaffa),
• and Haifa, which was afterward to become the capital of Roman Palestine.
• Herodium where he built a great palace.
• In Jerusalem he built the fortress of Antonia, portions of which may still be seen.
• And a magnificent palace (of which part survives in the citadel).
• His most grandiose creation was the Temple, which he wholly rebuilt. The great outer court, 35 acres (14 hectares) in extent, is still visible as Al-Ḥaram al-Sharīf, the Muslim mosque
• He also embellished foreign cities—Beirut, Damascus, Antioch, Rhodes—and many towns.
• He patronized the Olympic Games, whose president he became.

Herod saw himself…as the protector of Jewry outside of Palestine, whose Gentile hosts he did all in his power to conciliate. Exactly like American President Trump, his successor during current events. 

What is needed is the equivalent of Ezra who re-established the true worship of YHVH in Jerusalem, countering the corruption of Judaism.

He is also called a scribe, well-versed in the law of Moses (7:6), indicating Ezra’s dedication to the study of the Torah, which he sought to make the basic rule of life in the restored community. It was in religious and cultic reform rather than in political affairs that Ezra made his mark as a postexilic leader. Jewish tradition holds him in great esteem. The apocryphal 2 Esdras, sometimes included as an appendix to the Vulgate, where it is known as 4 Esdras, transforms him into a prophet and visionary. The Talmud regards him as a second Moses, claiming that the Torah would have been given to Israel through Ezra had not Moses preceded him.

He gave to his people a cohesion and spiritual unity which helped to prevent the disintegration of the small Jewish community settled in the province of Judah. Had it not been for the intransigence of Ezra and of those who adopted his ideal, it is doubtful that Judaism would have so effectively resisted Hellenism in later centuries. Ezra set the tone of the postexilic community, and it was characterized by fidelity to the Torah, Judaism’s authentic way of life.

Faith in the word of God has always been the power of salvation from the curse of sin and death, experienced as destructive forces now and eternal damnation to come.

“Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies [sin and death] might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,” (Luke 1:67-77)

“The LORD said unto me…I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee [Moses], and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.” (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

The King James Bible capitalizes “Prophet” in this passage, suggesting that Jesus Christ is the single person being referenced here. But none of the ancient languages used capital letters, so that is a late-date interpreter’s imposition.

“We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write,” (John 1:45)

“all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days…” (Acts 3:23).

Heads up. There is more than one iteration of The Prophet Like Moses.

So we can’t understand Jesus the ultimate Prophet in his “days” without first being grounded in the preceding prophets.

“Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel?

Clearly equating the children of the Ethiopians with the children of Israel. But how? Thiscan only be discovered through scrutiny of the clues scattered through scripture.

Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth;

saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD…All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us. In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen.” (Amos 9:1-11)

Prior to the fulfillment the prophecy may come to pass, providing opportunity for God’s people to recognize the unfailing truth of his word and providing sterling opportunity to witness of this until the fulfillment when:

“the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night…when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…But ye, brethren / like Paul, sons of God are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief…let us watch and be sober…For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Thessalonians 5:2-9)

The application to the tabernacle of David as a temporary dwelling place has come to pass in a variety of agents:

• David’s body which was genetically raised up through his genetic descendants, fulfilled in Jesus,
• Sons of God in whom Jesus’ Holy Spirit indwells
• David’s planned temple at Jerusalem that his son Solomon built which was destroyed but promised to be rebuilt,
• .the ark  of the covenant for the physical evidence of YHVH’s covenant with his people rescued from Egypt.

“For there was a tabernacle made…Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant…wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant / Ten Commandments; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.” (Hebrews 9)

Because it had been lost to sight of his rebellious people, that is.

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” (II Chronicles 16:9)

And the priestly ministry of the ark of the covenant remained in force for many more years after it was lost to Israel.

“Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for ALL Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” (Malachi 4)

As many times as the earth has been smitten with a curse of world war, it appears that God’s people still haven’t gotten, or at least implemented, the command to Remember The Law Of Moses.

As the composer of the first five books of humanity’s history from day one, it stands to reason that Moses is God’s foundational spokesman.

It is on Moses’ writings that the reliability of the entirety of the literary work of the Bible is based, the plot of which is restoration of humanity’s leadership in the Kingdom of God by defeating the enemy of sin resulting in death.

“I am the LORD, I change not…Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. ” (Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8-9)

“For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.” (Hebrews 8:7-8)

Whoa! Sure sounds like a contradiction here!

Remember, any apparent contradiction is the best clue to the truth. Let’s follow this.
