“And Jacob [the current Melchizedek] called unto his sons, and said,
- Gather / אָסַף yourselves together / removing any discord]that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days / end of space-time
- Gather / קָבַץ yourselves together / a different word, meaning bring together what was scattered] Prophetically this is noted by James, brother of Jesus, writing to “the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad” (James 1:1) and hear / pay attention to this message ye sons of Jacob; and hearken/ respond obediently unto Isra-el / The Prince of El your father.
“Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
As evidenced by cave paintings, lions have been symbolic of power since the most ancient times. Since the earliest historical times in Mesopotamia lions symbolized kingship, being associated with Nimrod / Gilgamesh. depicted in Assyrian art and architecture, notoriously at the Ishtar Gatein Babylon, in Egypt, throughout East Asia, Classical Greek and Roman culture, into modern times.
No question about it, Judah is being declared Adam’s successor King of the World in opposition to the Adversary’s Pretenders.
“The sceptreshall NOT depart from Judah,”
One of the earliest royal sceptres was discovered in the 2nd Dynasty i.e. pre-Flood tomb of Khasekhemwy in Abydos. History is an account of a continuous tug of war by the Adversary to seize the insignia of authority established by YHVH.
“nor a law-giver [absolute, permanent, unchanging authority] from between his feet”
Kings were also known to carry a staff, with the most ancient being, logically, the “shepherd’s crook”, which, when wielded by a righteous judge, provides comfort, but affliction when wielded by a wicked and unjust judge.
“in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest…thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked…He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger…”
“until Shiloh / Tranquility come and unto HIM shall thegathering יִקָּהָה in obedience of the people be.”
“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet / his biological heirs, until Shiloh / Tranquil, Peacemaker come; and unto him shall theof the people be.” (49:1-10)
In what can only be viewed as tremendous irony, the Adversary has his own gathering of his people, only his are dead.
“Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee…All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?…How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground…For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven…I will be like the most High.” (Isaiah 14:4-15)
There was just a bump in the road getting to Judah’s heir becoming Melchizedek.
“A bastard...to his tenth generation shall…not enter into the congregation of the LORD.” (Deuteronomy 23:2)
As detailed in previous posts, biblically speaking a bastard is not referring to a child born out of wedlock but to a child born of incest because incest is the standard post-Flood method for breeding hybrids – intentionally or otherwise. Judah begat his son Phares on his daughter-in-law.
Throughout those ten generations the incestuously corrupted genetics were sorted out through meiosis, and positive leadership development was passed down through epigenetics.
From Matthew 1:
Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar his daughter-in-law, ergo incest / bastards
- and Phares (the bastard) was born in Canaan and entered Egypt with his father Judah
- Esrom
- Aram
- Aminadab 4th generation in Egypt, left Egypt as an old man during the Exodus
- Naasson young man, prince of the tribe of Judah, leading his contingent of warriors which included Caleb, one of only two of the original adult emigres to enter Canaan because of his great faith and courage
- Salmon m. Rachab and begat
- Booz m. Ruth begat
- Obed begat
- Jesse begat
- David the first king from the anointed leadership / messianic tribe of Ju-dah – hence the designation “Jew”.
And the prophecies of the King of the Jews come to pass with David.
“THY hand shall be in the neck of THINE enemies;”
Take this image out of our squeamish 20th century and put it into the historical context preceding its fulfillment. This is a bloody prediction of a severed head consistent with the first prophecy that the head of the serpent would be “bruised” / slammed down on really hard.

- THY father’s children shall bow down before THEE.
This is a marked contrast to the Adversary’s children.
“And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon [AKA Jerub-baal because he hath thrown down Baal’s altar]…And Gideon had threescore and ten sons of his body begotten: for he had many wives. And his concubine that was in Shechem [That perennial adversary to God’s people], she also bare him a son, whose name he called Abi-melech / “My father is king”.
And all the men of Shechem gathered together…and made Abimelech king…And he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten persons, upon one stone:
notwithstanding yet Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left…he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim [NOTE! To bless the people by getting rid of the evil in the land], and lifted up his voice…Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you…[the blessing]…my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian…let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem…and let fire come out from the men of Shechem…and devour Abimelech.
When Abimelech had reigned three years over Israel…the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech…and went into the house of their god, and did eat and drink, and cursed Abimelech…And Abimelech fought against the city…and slew the people that was therein…about a thousand men and women.
Then went Abimelech…encamped against…a strong tower…And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone upon Abimelech’s head…
Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren: And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.” (Judges 9)2222
It’s the Seed of the Woman whose redemptive death brings about the long-awaited resurrection!
From the oldest book in the Bible:
“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:” (Job 19:25-26)
Through one of the last books in the Bible:
“we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ / Messiah / Promised One / Seed of the Woman is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God.” (II Thessalonians 2:1-4)
- Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine;
That’s pretty obscure, but my prime directive is that the Bible explains itself. Normally no-one would allow any animals to eat their vines, and especially super hungry constantly eating young animals, let alone tie them up in front of their faces! In fact, vines are such a precious source of food and income that there was a law requiring any person to make restitution if their beasts were allowed to do so.
“If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.” (Exodus 22:5)
But there is an exception!
“Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard…for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat…And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you;” (Leviticus 25)
What what this obscure-to-us but well-known-to-ancient-peoples bit of ancient culture is telling us is that in “the times of the restitution of all things” (Acts 3:21) there will not only be resurrection of dead bodies but also resurrection of the whole world as it was designed to be without constant battle against productivity being choked to death by chaos!
“And unto Adam he said…cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee…In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Genesis 3:17-19)
- he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:” (Genesis 49:10-11)
Again, obscure to modern sensibilities. So let’s touch base with the wise Old Ones. Obviously the imagery is that of purple garments, which have always been exclusive to the rich, ergo ruling, class. Still today the phrase “Born to the purple” is commonly used and understood as meaning belonging to the privileged class.
The Caananites of Tyre (remember, Lucifer’s seat for awhile) immediately resumed the manufacture of rare purple dye from mollusks found in the eastern Mediterranean, so we can deduce that purple clothing has been a symbol of wealth since before the flood. Our God certainly likes it and incorporates it into his own house’s soft furnishings and ministers’ attire.
I can only deduce that in the one-upmanship between the King of Tyre and The God of the Whole Earth that YHVH and his people win the prize in the fashion show.
- His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.
Also winning the beauty pageant. As a health care professional I’m interpreting these physical findings in the context of a strong and healthy specimen of humanity, not a drunken derelict.
