The 1925 Scopes “Monkey” Trial charged high school biology teacher John Scopes with breaking the law by teaching Darwinian evolution in a public school. He was in fact guilty of breaking existing law, and duly convicted. Therefore his renowned defense attorney Clarence Darrow argued for a bigger issue – eliminating the Bible as a credible source of history and science and relegating it to personal faith. 

This was a problem for the elite who were at the forefront of intellectual developments but also identified as Christian to be acceptable to the masses. Hence options for interpretation were inserted into the Genesis account of creation to account for evolution.

Many people have become agnostics because of the supposed conflict between the Bible and science.  In truth, there is no conflict at all between a correct translation of the Bible and really proven science.

science knows human beings have lived on the earth far longer than the few thousand years covered by the Bible.

Note – this assumes that evolution is a “really proven science” which it is not.

the truth is that the Bible nowhere says that Adam was the first man…— it merely says that Adam was the first man of a new [creation] or the White race.

Wow! Bald faced lie! Note the failure to provide the biblical reference for this statement, and the obfuscation of the clear biblical statement, supported by historical sources such as Herodotus and scientific sources such as DNA evidence as presented in later posts, that the white race is descended from Noah’s son Japheth after a catastrophe wiped out the majority of humanity.

Moving on with this misinterpretation:

In Genesis 3, verse 3, when Eve tells Satan that God has said that they must not touch the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil, the word there translated “touch” [in the King James Bible] is the Hebrew word “ִתְגּעוּ / th gou” meaning “to lie with, to have sexual intercourse with,” which plainly shows that…there were other people in the world at that time.

Let’s double check this interpretation and resulting extrapolation with the source –Strong’s Hebrew concordance:
1. (properly) to touch, i.e. lay the hand upon (for any purpose)
2. (euphemism) to lie with a woman) – applied only once 
3. (by implication, to acquire) – explicitly clarified in this case as “take”
4. violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.)

“And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country…And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent [by an emissary], and took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife. 

But Abimelech had not come near her: and…God said unto him…I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

Nothing in this account requires the once-and-only interpretation of “have sexual intercourse”. The standard translation of “touch” realistically applies to the process of the king engaging with the woman in the process of determining whether or not he wants to join their bodies.

And that is exactly what God warned the Adam’s. Exactly like any human being at a fruit stand – don’t fondle the fruit to determine if there’s any mushy spots or it’s still unripe or any other reason to reject it while making up your mind whether or not to take it.

People who don’t investigate the claims being made blindly grasp, like Eve, at whatever appeals to them.

Obviously, the trees in the garden of the Lord in Eden were family trees of races and nations.

No this is not obvious!

it was Adam’s job to rule the various nations and races of the earth as God’s representative here, educating them in God’s laws and enforcing obedience to those laws.  These other races and nations had been here many thousands of years before Adam.

Again, where does Mr. Comparet get his information? He just makes it up.

Inserting evolution into the Bible allows Christians to claim a biblical means of salvation from hell while simultaneously rejecting unpalatable equality, justice, and righteous behavior towards people they determine to be their inferiors. and allows the elite tyrants to murder “worthless eaters” with impunity.

Why do those being exploited by this buy into their justification?

TO IDENTIFY ONESELF AS BEING PART OF THE ELITE.

The second perversion of the biblical account of Creation, called the “Gap Theory”, states that the initial universal was essentially a black hole, from which expanded all the formed mass and energy entities thereby apparently reconciling the Bible with the belief of evolution that the Earth is billions of years old.

This form of acceptance of evolution is just as unacceptable to fundamentalist Christians, and the most enduring legacy of the Scopes Trial was the creation (get it?) of two dichotomous options,

1. deep age Darwinian evolution destroying any faith in biblical inerrancy
2. and young earth creationism as the only theologically viable approach to anything reported in the Bible.

Creation science, a field which looks for scientific evidence that the earth was created in a manner consistent with the Genesis account, is taught almost exclusively in the vein of young-earth creationism (YEC), the belief that the earth is less than 10,000 years old

So fundamentalist biblical opponents of the Gap Theory fiercely insist that everything in Genesis 1 occurred in seven 24-hour days.

Let’s be true scientists and examine all claims objectively.

The Creator described in the Bible no more needs 24 hours than he needs billions of years to create either the old or the new creation. We cannot judge the circumstances of “the King eternal, immortal” (I Timothy 1:17) by current conditions.

Eternity is not longer time. It is the opposite of time. It is time-less-ness.

“be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (II Peter 3:8)

This has been interpreted as a code for determining the date of the end time, but that is not supported in scripture. Peter is simply making a comparison in known terms of time because we can’t grasp the eternal hyper dimension any more than colors can be described to someone who is colorblind or music to someone who has been deaf from birth.

“…eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world / chronos / timesbegan / aionios / a very long time ago.” (Titus 1:2)

This verse is an example of both the benefits and the confusion that comes from having different translations of the Bible. In this instance, the different translations of the phrase chronos aionios should help clarify the meaning – “the beginning of time, the world began, ages began.”  The common denominator to the different translations is that the Bible states there was a beginning to time.

This is corroborated by science.

“Physicists agree that time had a beginning.”

While physical time is defined by deterioration, such as the decay of radioactive isotopes, historic time is defined by assigning a starting point and measuring standardized intervals between events. National histories are typically dated by the reigns of their kings.

The Bible does not document a geological earth calendar based on measurements of events like radioactive decay, but the doleful tolling of the deaths of men and their people.

“And all the days that Adam lived were 930 years: and he died….And all the days of Seth were 912 years: and he died…” (Genesis 5:3-8)

Death / time did not begin until the 7th day of creation, when the Adams violated a law of nature, and has an end – when death is destroyed.

“So when…this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass…Death is swallowed up in victory.” (I Corinthians 15:53-54)

“And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever…that there should be time no longer...and there shall be no more death:” (Revelation 10:5-7, 11:15, 21:4)

Young Earth proponents basing their belief on the Bible are inconsistent with

• attributing 24 hours to each creation day
• when the sun isn’t created until day four,
• and many other biblical passages use “day” to mean “era”.

These “days/eras” most clearly define A CALENDAR based on time as a function of deterioration when only hyperdimensional God and sons of God were present.

We must deduce that Genesis 1’s demarcation of “days 1-7 is recording that rebel hyperdimensional beings were engaged in destroying each phase of God’s Creation.

A plain, straightforward reading of Genesis 1:1-2 and Job 38:4-11 indicates that every aspect of Creation was catastrophically destroyed by water during “works of darkness”, which God repaired when he “worked during the next evening and morning”.
