“Creation Science” emerged in its modern form with the 1961 publication of The Genesis Flood by John Whitcomb and Henry Morris.

“If a worldwide flood actually destroyed the entire antediluvian human population, as well as all land animals, except those preserved in a special Ark constructed by Noah…then its historical and scientific implications are tremendous.”
Indeed yes, because “as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man…The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” (Luke 17:26-27, Genesis 6:12-13)
Unlike charlatans’ predictions which are hit or miss, biblical prophecies are credible because scientifically validated biblical accounts of past identical occasions prove them trustworthy.
And the world-wide cataclysmic flooding that left unmistakable geological evidence during Noah’s flood previously happened, leaving even more trace evidence, during creation.
“In the beginning God created…the earth. And the earth [AKA soil] was [came to be] without form [i.e. liquified], and void [empty]; and darkness [the opposition to God’s creative light, i.e. destructive force of evil] was upon the face of the deep [surging mass of water].
Multiple geochemical studies have concluded that asteroid hits are most likely the primary source of Earth’s water. The sequence of originally dry earth to inundated is established by the dry earth’s resurfacing, and by Job’s parallel account.
“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding…Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? The biblical account is validated by geological science’s discovery of Pangea, also spelled Pangaea, in early geologic time, a supercontinent that incorporated almost all the landmasses on Earth…surrounded by a global ocean called Panthalassa…was first proposed in 1912 by German meteorologist Alfred Wegener.
While the majority of Earth’s surface is covered by oceans, those oceans make up only 0.023% of the total mass of Earth…A significant amount of water is also stored in Earth’s crust, mantle, and core.
Unlike molecular H2O that is found on the surface, water in the interior exists primarily in hydrated minerals…approximately three times the mass of the Earth’s oceans could be stored [in the Earth’s mantle]. Similarly, the Earth’s core could contain four to five oceans’ worth of hydrogen.Consistent with long earth ages paradigm supporting Evolution, most geologists believe that the movement of the earth’s plates has been slow and gradual over eons of time. If today’s measured rates of plate drift—about 0.5–6 in (2–15 cm) per year—are extrapolated into the past, it would require about 100 million years for the Atlantic Ocean to form…
However, contradicting this time frame are the findings from drilling into the magnetized rock of the mid-ocean ridges showing that magnetic polarity changes rapidly.
The catastrophic plate tectonics model of described in this article correlate with
- a pre-Flood supercontinent
- surrounded by cold ocean-floor rocks [the water-delivering asteroids from space] that were denser (heavier) per unit volume than the warm [from pressure] mantle rock beneath…
- a sudden trigger large enough to “crack” the ocean floor adjacent to the supercontinent…
- zones of cold, heavy ocean-floor rock start sinking into the upper mantle…drags the rest of the ocean floor with it, in a conveyor-belt-like fashion….
- The ultimate result is a runaway process that causes the entire pre-Flood ocean floor to sink to the bottom of the mantle in a matter of a few weeks.
- As the slabs sink (at rates of feet-per-second) down to the mantle/core boundary, enormous amounts of energy are released.
The rapidly sinking ocean-floor slabs cause large-scale convection currents, producing a circular flow throughout the mantle. The hot mantle rock displaced by these subducting slabs wells up to the mid-ocean rift zones where it melts and forms new ocean floor. Here, the liquid rock vaporizes huge volumes of ocean water to produce a linear curtain of supersonic steam jets along the entire 43,500 mi (70,000 km) of the seafloor rift zones.
Consistent with the report of “fountains of the great deep” during Noah’s flood, these supersonic steam jets capture large amounts of water as they “shoot” up through the ocean then fall back to the surface.
As the ocean floor warms during this process, its rock expands, forcing a dramatic rise in sea level. Ocean water would have swept up onto and over the continental land surfaces, carrying vast quantities of sediments and marine organisms with them to form the thick, fossiliferous sedimentary rock layers we now find blanketing large portions of today’s continents. Rocks like this are magnificently exposed in the Grand Canyon, for example.
Multiple asteroid impacts would trigger giant super-volcanoes and earthquakes...which in turn would send vast amounts of smoke, ash, soot, etc. into the atmosphere, massively reducing the amount of light from the sun reaching the earth.
As has been modeled in computer simulations of such catastrophes and documented by renowned astronomer Carl Sagan, the inevitable next phase of climate change is an ice age.
The hot magma pouring into the ocean would heat it up, while at the same time the reduced sun’s rays on the land would cool that down: the result of warm sea against cold land is snow…It has been calculated that 2,300 feet of ice could accumulate in 500 years by this process.
But according to the International Commission on Stratigraphy, the Pleistocene epoch: The last ice age began about 2.6 million years ago and ended 11,700 years ago, Note – no data is provided – or even available – to substantiate the lengths of time claimed.
It is evident that scientists falsely attribute millions of years to ice ages only to support the long stretches of time required in the Evolutionary model of how this world came to be.
Mesopotamian cosmogony relates the Genesis origin of water on earth in its way, that is to say by making it a heroic act of their gods.
Abzû or Apsû lit. ab = ‘water’ + zû = ‘deep’) is the name /attribute of a primordial god, as a force of nature in the form of a massive fresh water great sea both above and below the earth. As a male principle, he is the giver of life [we are all recognizing Lucifer, right?] through fresh water underground aquifers, the source of all lakes, springs, rivers, fountains, rain, and even the Flood, as described in Atrahasis.
Divine Mother Earth is surrounded above and within by cosmic freshwater and encircled at the edge of her single landmass on the surface by a saltwater sea, Tiamat, in opposition to Abzu as Chaos to Life. Through the underground of her body, runs a tunnel drilled by the sun god himself, through which his burning fire penetrates, and which also contains the Irkalla as a special compartment for the dead who continue to exist after death there as shadows.
