When a sperm cell fuses with an egg cell, instantly a flash of light occurs, a photochemical reaction as massive amounts of zinc stored in tiny sacs at the surface of the egg floods into the extracellular environment. More than 8,000 times the amount of zinc of surrounding tissues prevents any other sperm from penetrating the egg.
One could say that sperm now owns the egg.
In the interior of the egg a tsunami of calcium ions triggers the biological processes beginning embryonic development.
One could say that male actor has the leading role in the new life that has begun.
And when that sperm with the genetic code is for a fallen angel greater in power and might than a human, energized by his evil spirit, that is absolutely the case. The maternal role was never more than enslavement to the will of the father.
So although the hybrid offspring combined the life energy / spirit of both the human mother and the fallen angel father, it was the fallen angel’s spirit that was in control and therefore determined the character and therefore destiny of the direct offspring of the fallen angels.
It’s only to be expected that it is the pre-flood prophet Enoch who documents the origin and the fates of the spirits of the pre-flood demigod giants.
“And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling…And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, ⌈but nevertheless hunger⌉ and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded ⌈from them⌉.
- [Timing] From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death,
- [Process]: from:
- the souls [neurologically produced energy fields that persist after death as grounded potential energy] of whose
- flesh [mortal from their human mothers so decay to dust]
- the spirits [of the fallen angels merged into a human egg cell] having gone forth [from the above listed souls and bodies]
- shall destroy
- without incurring judgement until the day of the consummation in which the age shall be consummated.” (Enoch 15:8-16:1)
Spirit possession is an unusual or an altered state of consciousness and/or emotional, cognitive, physical and behavioral abnormalities for that person. These may be severely disabling or super-humanly enabling.
“they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:” (Matthew 8:16)
Jesus and his chroniclers treated endemic evil spirits as such well-known facts in the endemic paganism of that time, not needing an explanatory introduction beyond what Moses documented in the Torah and Enoch in his pre-flood history book.
Gadara was a typical Hellenistic city under the Seleucids. It was the hometown of the Cynic philosopher Menippus [3rd c. BCE] who invented the genre of mocking narrative satire imitated by later Greek and Latin writers.
In good satiric style Mark 5 portrays Jesus as expelling a demon named “Legion” — the basic unit of the Roman army…Like the satires of Menippus, however, the setting of this exorcism story is purely imaginative, since there are no cliffs in the region…
Uhm, the above writer is the one who is falling back on the genre of mocking narrative satire to avoid facing facts.
The biblical narrative states “into the country of”, so this is just the typical sneer at the Bible, not a credible evaluation. Google Maps validates the geographical portion of this narrative.
Umm Qais in Northern Jordan was once the Roman Decapolis city of Gadara. The ruins provide sweeping views over the Sea of Galilee.
“they came over unto the country of the Gadarenes… and when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling among the tombs;”
A necro-polis…is a large, designed cemetery with elaborate tombs. The name stems from the Ancient Greek νεκρόπολις nekro-polis, literally meaning “city of the dead”, implies a separate burial site at a distance from a city vs a mausoleum . Etruscan [Roman} necropoli were usually located on hills or slopes of hills.
And Luke provides a second witness to the events.
“And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not! (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name?
Obtaining the name of one’s hyper dimensional adversary is a well known requirement for obtaining power over that adversary. And in human relations as well.
And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep / bottomless pit.“
“And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.”
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear.” (Luke 8:26-37)
Whenever the host body of a possessing evil spirit dies, or is healed of possession, the spirit(s) desperately seek a new host body for vicarious self-expression. This explains the Gadarene hybrid spirits’ request to be granted alternate shelter in the swine’s bodies.
Or as stated in Neil Gaiman’s pagan-based Good Omens, the demon Crowley’s only dread is being dis-corporated. “it’s not like it’s ever been easy to get a new body, but this time around, things really aren’t looking good.”
The reaction of the Gadarenes and Gergasenes is often taught as being triggered by financial concerns, but the documented fact is that they were terrified of the evil spirits who had just been set loose by the dying pigs and seeking – like sausages – new casings.
In a 1969 study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, spirit possession beliefs were found to exist in 74% of a sample of 488 societies in all parts of the world including Buddhism, Christianity, Haitian Vodou, Hinduism, Islam, Wicca, and Southeast Asian, African, and Native American traditions. Spirit possession may be considered voluntary or involuntary and may be considered to have beneficial or detrimental effects on the host.
The Greeks documented the demographic changes from the Bronze Age when the gods mated directly with human women to procreated hybrids to post-flood indwelling of humans by the pre-flood gods. These spirit-empowered demigods were not necessarily identified by gigantism or superhuman strength produced by angelic genes, but proven by their accomplishment of one or more of the following superhuman feats:
- kill monsters,
- found a city, kingdom, or dynasty,
- invented a new technology,
- engage in an exceptional military, or even athletic, event
This may seem like a lesser breed of hybrid, and to a certain extent it was, but because the angelic spirit was from the outset of hybridization a free spirit, not trapped in the human mitochondria like the pre-flood hybrids formed from seed, this lower level of functionality was offset by the endurance of a lineage of demon-possessed demigods, attributing divine origins to future rulers.
This can be understood as the same epigenetic process that passed Mrs. Adam’s sin of innate rebellion against God to all her human offspring.
While this is NOT “official” Catholic teaching, it is worthy of a healthy discussion.
Studies have shown that most prostitutes had a horrible relationship with their parents, and often felt abandoned by them. And when these prostitutes have children, they in-turn tend to abandon them, repeating the whole process to another generation.
What the “Healing of the Family Tree” ministry says is that there is also a generational spiritual component to sinfulness, dealing with demons who attach themselves to families caused by the sins of our ancestors. These demons are known as “familial spirits” who attach themselves to families through sins such as Freemasonry, occultism, pornography, etc. who specialize in alcoholism, lust, greed, and other sins.
If the father of a family watches pornography in the home, he is not only inviting the demon to attach itself to him, because of the authority that the father has over his own family the demon can attach itself to the sons and daughters of the family, and then to subsequent generations of that family.
Exodus 20:5: “you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Leviticus 26:40: “But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery which they committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me,
Please note that saying things to your children like “You’ll never amount to anything!” or “You are wicked” is placing a curse on your own family, which give demons permission to attach themselves to the family.
