“And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard.” (Genesis 9:20-28)

The fact that the climate was temperate enough to cultivate grapes tells us that enough time has passed for the apocalyptic glacial climate to thaw. According to the assessment made in Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth, 100 years would be enough.

Noah’s ability to maintain a vineyard also tells us that he is not living in a war zone, which inevitably turns all production into war materiel. The Lebanese Civil War provides a prime example of what happens to peacetime cultivation practices during wartime. The Beqaa Valley vineyards and olive groves were abandoned to warlords who razed them to plant drug crops earning around $500 million from opium cultivation of an estimated 30 metric tonnes per year, as well as cannabis.

“And he drank of the wine, and was drunken;”

This, again, suggests climate warming from the post-apocalyptic mini ice age, which caused unfamiliar fermentation of the grape juice with uncharacteristic intoxication.

“and he was uncovered within his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father,“

This passage, like any other, needs to be understood according to the euphemisms being used.

In our day when we say someone is “sleeping with someone else” this may or not involve actual sleeping or even a bed. Likewise, the phrase “uncovered nakedness” is a delicate phrase meaning “engaging in sexual intercourse”.

This elucidation of this phrase is found in Leviticus, which, honestly, explains why it is unknown to most Christians.

“None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him,

• to uncover / engage in their nakedness / sex with them
• thy father’s wife [whether or not she is your mother, like Reuben with Bilhah]…is [exclusively] thy father’s nakedness [sexual activity].” (Leviticus 18:6-8) because ” a man…shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” (Genesis 2:25) 

So when we match the definitions in Leviticus 18 with the event in Genesis 9, and the severe consequences that followed, it stands to reason that Ham literally only saw  “the nakedness of his father” / sexual activity that someone else uncovered, i.e. engaged in with Noah’s wife.

Ham’s response drives all that happens next. Instead of covering up his mother, he tried to cover up the incident.

“and told his two brethren without.

And Shem [first-named indicating taking the lead in the action] and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father [and mother]; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s [and mother’s] nakedness.”

“And Noah awoke from his wine / drunken state, incapacitation to protect his wife, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.”

I have heard it preached that Noah is angry at Ham, but then for some unknown reason curses Ham’s son instead. Seriously?

Note, the King James Bible never uses the term “grand”-son. The designation of younger generations as “grand” or “great-etc”-grand children only started to come into use at the same time that the King James Bible was translated.

Using the exact same investigative methods of establishing means, motive and opportunity, and most of all following the trail of blood evidence, we can know that Canaan was guilty of having sexual relations with his mother.

• And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
• Blessed be the LORD God of Shem [naming him as Melchizedekian heir], and Canaan shall be his servant. Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee; be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee.
  • You can be sure Shem understood that Noah was quoting the same wording the Bible later documents as Jacob’s Melchizedekian inheritance.
• God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant [also].” Genesis 9:20-27)

The simplest explanation of Canaan’s crime is that he was attempting a coup, since the wife of a ruler is joined as one with him.

“David slept with his fathers…And Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon…Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king,…give me [King David’s widow] Abishag the Shunammite to wife…And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother…ask for him the kingdom also…And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.” (I Kings 1-2)

But beyond the possible political coup attempt, Canaan was more critically strategizing the most effective production of hybrid offspring through the informed practice of polyploidy hybridization techniques to produce hybrids / abominations who can reproduce between themselves. 

And that reason, more than the social chaos, is the primary reason why incest is condemned in Leviticus.

“(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the [hybridized] nations that were before you.” (Leviticus 18:27-28)

Follow the clues – Canaan wasn’t the only grandson of Noah who was producing demigod nations with a giant-genes-carrying woman. There was also Cush.
