Kingdom Come

The Seventh Night is when time, as mortal humans understand and experience it, begins. All creation was subjected to corruption and death following the leader’s disconnection from the Creator-Sustainer’s authority, therefore power.

The Hindu religion, which preserves the most comprehensive and oldest accounts of the activities of the fallen angels / gods from this time period, confirms this. In Hinduism…Kala means both time and death. From a spiritual perspective time exists when we are in a state of duality but disappears when we enter in the state of unity “with God

 And the LORD God called unto Adam…Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?…In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Genesis 3:9-19)

“the creature was made subject to vanity / futility, no permanence…” (Romans 8:19)

“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them…So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” ((Genesis 3:20-21, I Corinthians 15:54)

Can we catch a glimpse of the abstract concept expressed through the physical image? Adam and Eve “put on immortality” when they were covered in the life-containing blood of the pelts from the freshly skinned animals. The only way this could happen was for the death of another to substitute for theirs.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you…to make an atonement for your souls.” (Leviticus 17:11)

God forgave and atoned for the Adams’ transgression of the law, redeemed them from the Serpent’s control and restored his relationship with access to his power.

Adam was still God’s King of Righteousness.

Interestingly, according to the Sumerian accounts, En–lil / Adam / the first human Son of God is portrayed as being most active after Adam had died, in Noah’s time, ~2,500 BC.

This is because, as with all founding prophets of all religions, his memory and teachings would have been carried on by a succession of heirs, a priestly order carrying out Enlil’s responsibilities.  Adam was the first priest-king in the order / appointed succession of Melchisedec. More on this in the post The Order of Melchizedek. 

And this is where the history of mankind really takes off. Remember, God gave dominion to mankind.  God doesn’t go back on his word.

“…one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him?…Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet….But now we see not yet all things [just some things] put under him.” (Hebrews 2:8-10)

Humans are not passive subjects in God’s kingdom. We are active players.

The world is won back from the enemy by humans fighting for what is ours under the direction of our king. It really helps to have some vision of ancient warfare here, when kings led their massed troops out to battle.

Our weapon? What else? The most powerful force in the world.

“...the sword of the Spirit…is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:17)

“For the word of God is quick [in both meanings of alive and fast-moving as in physics string theory], and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12)

How utterly stupefying that there are people who consider themselves the superior educated elite who scorn the biblical version that God turned creation over to mankind

in preference to a world view that says that the gods created humans as their slaves!

Sumer, the ‘land of civilized kings’, flourished in Mesopotamia, now modern-day Iraq, around 4500 BC. [pre-flood]. Sumerians created an advanced civilization with its own system of elaborate language and writing, architecture and arts, astronomy and mathematics. Their religious system was a complex one comprised of hundreds of gods. According to the ancient texts, each Sumerian city was guarded by its own god; and while humans and gods used to live together, the humans were servants to the gods.

The claim that the gods, AKA stars, formed humans absolutely opposes the Hebrew scriptures which clearly did not plagiarize the Sumerian on this key point.

Interesting that the scientific model of creation parallels the Sumerian.

As you read the Sumerian account can you catch the parallels to the biblical account of YHVH’s Savior, the Son of God, dying to permanently bind man to God, to make a family of equals?

When the gods like men
Bore the work and suffered the toll
The toil of the gods was great,
The work was heavy, the distress was much.

According to the Sumerian legend, the Creator God Anu agreed that the gods’ labour was too great and gave permission to Enki / Ea [Lucifer] to make inferior beings as worker drones.

You have slaughtered a god together
With his personality [soul]
…
In the clay, god and man
Shall be bound,
To a unity brought together;
So that to the end of days
The Flesh and the Soul
Which in a god have ripened –
That soul in a blood-kinship be bound.

Bible believers know that first Anu / Ani / I Am / YHVH then humans themselves, not Enki, are the true begetters of mankind, and that humans are assigned dominion over all creation while the celestial beings were assigned to be our servants.

• “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
  • For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?
• And again, I will be to him [Adam] a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten [Adam] into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
  • And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
• But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom…
  • But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (Hebrews 1:4-14)

God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:” (Hebrews 6:17)

These are the secrets of this oath, and by it were they confirmed.

• Heaven was suspended by it before the world was made, for ever.
• By it has the earth been founded upon the flood; while from the concealed parts of the hills the agitated waters proceed forth from the creation to the end of the world.
• By this oath the sea has been formed, and the foundation of it. During the period of its fury he has established the sand against it, which continues unchanged for ever; and
• by this oath the abyss has been made strong; nor is it removable from its station for ever and ever.
• By this oath the sun and moon complete their progress, never swerving from the command given to them for ever and ever.
• By this oath the stars complete their progress; And when their names are called, they return an answer, for ever and ever. Thus in the heavens take place the blowings of the winds: all of them have breathings, and effect a complete combination of breathings. There the treasures of thunder are kept, and the splendour of the lightning. There are kept the treasures of hail and of frost, the treasures of snow, the treasures of rain and of dew.
• All these confess and laud before the Lord of spirits. They glorify with all their power of praise; and he sustains them in all that act of thanksgiving; while they laud, glorify, and exalt the name of the Lord of spirits for ever and ever.
• And with them he establishes this oath, by which they and their paths are preserved; nor does their progress perish. Great was their joy. They blessed, glorified, and exalted, BECAUSE THE NAME OF THE SON OF MAN WAS REVEALED TO THEM.  (Enoch 68:23-38)

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world…Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD / YHVH, my strength, and MY REDEEMER.” (Psalm 19)

Do you see why creation is a prime target for the enemy? It testifies of God’s great love for humanity. How tragic, but how utterly predictable, that the majority of people believe the deceiver’s twisted portrayal of God as a tyrant.

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire.” (Malachi 3:1-2)

Day Eight – the real Star Wars resistance against the evil empire.

Oh, there’s more? Days 8-10 are not listed in Genesis because they hadn’t happened yet. We infer them from later references to night and day.

Evening: The Second Adam / Son of God redeems humanity and all creation from death.  The gospel / good news of salvation has always been the same – we can restore a relationship with God and win the battle against spiritual and physical death by substituting another death for ours through faith in his Promised Savior.

“And the LORD God said unto the serpent…I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise [crush] thy head, and thou shalt bruise [bloody] his heel. (Genesis 3:15)

“And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John…this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee…And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:7-12)

“…behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed…for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:5-10)

Redeemed humans are empowered to take dominion over the earth, whose real treasure is not gold and lands but human souls.

“All power is given unto me in heaven and and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.” (Matthew 28:18-19)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” (II Corinthians 5:17-20)

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.” (Revelation 21-22)

I grew up attending a Baptist church for Sunday school and two church services every Sunday, prayer meeting every Wednesday night, neighborhood Joy Club on Thursdays after school, Awana on Fridays where I memorized entire chapters at a time, Vacation Bible School every summer, private Bible time in the mornings before school, Bible study led by our preacher Dad every evening.

So I learned the Bible.

So when I was about 14 years I questioned a statement my Dad made while expositing Matthew 24 – Jesus and his disciples weren’t Jewish. Say what? Eventually I questioned everything I had learned in church. And I learned that the Bible conveys the most fascinating account of human history, full of the drama of the human condition, life and death, war and peace.

Night: Apostasy by the people of God once again allows darkness to overshadow the world. According to scripture, this is our current era. We are currently in the night.

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk [live our lives] honestly, as in the day...” (Romans 13:12-13)

“”But ye, brethren, are not in darkness…Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober…Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away [apostasy] first…And then shall that Wicked be revealed…

“I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

• A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face;
• that sacrificeth in gardens,
• and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
• Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments,
• which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
• Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou.

These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day. Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom, Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom…ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain…” (Isaiah 65)

“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the [God’s] people:

BUT!  the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee [God’s people]. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” (Isaiah 60)

“a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” (Revelation 4:1)

Morning: Just when it seems that all hope is gone and no flesh will be saved alive, the Son of God Lord of Heaven and Earth appears suddenly in a blinding flash of light from heaven that makes an atom bomb pale by comparison.

“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 4:1-3)

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” (Revelation 20:1-3)

Day Nine – Restoration of a post-apocalyptic world

Evening:

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of YHVH’s Savior, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with God’s Anointed / Christ a thousand years…they shall be priests of God and of Christ…” (Revelation 20:4-6)

Night:

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city…” (Revelation 20:7-9)

“But [!] the day of the Lord WILL COME [!] as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (II Peter 3:10)

Morning: Judgment Day. Surely Hitler got his attitude from his father Satan. “Capitulate? Never. We can go down, perhaps, but we’ll take a world with us.” 

“…and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works….And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:10-15)

In the wake of Einstein’s special relativity, it became clear that space and time were intimately connected. The German mathematician Hermann Minkowski — one of Einstein’s former teachers — described the resulting four-dimensional entity…At a lecture in 1908, he proclaimed: “Henceforth space by itself, and time by itself, are doomed to fade away into mere shadows, and only a kind of union of the two will preserve an independent reality…”
