“What is man / ha-Adam, the first human, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man / Adam’s heir that thou visitest him? Thou madest him / ha-Adam a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.” (Hebrews 2:6-8)

INCLUDING POWER OVER DEATH.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ / YHVH’s Savior / the last Adam, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ / the Savior:
- According as he hath chosen us [humans not angels] in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
- Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by YHVH’s Chosen Savior to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
- To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
- In whom we [like the Woman] have redemption through his [like Adam’s] blood / death, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” (Ephesian 1:3-7)
Nothing has changed for humanity since those first instructions were given to us.
- “walk [live a lifestyle] worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
- being fruitful in every good work,
- and increasing in the knowledge of God;
- Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power…
- Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light…
- in the faith grounded and settled…which was preached to every creature which is under heaven…the word of God.” (Colossians 1)
“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive…And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.” (I Corinthians 15:21-22, 45)
Adam knew the consequences when he chose to eat the fruit.
“Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she [her life] shall be saved [perpetuated] in [through] childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness.” (I Timothy 2:14-15)
It was his faith that his Father / Mother Creator would be faithful to his word to grant dominion to mankind that empowered him to face death, sure that the source of all life would be able and willing to override death.
“Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord…my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell…Thou wilt shew me the path of life.” (Psalm 16)
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God.” (Romans 8:38-39)
And when Adam responded to his partner’s need with faith in God, acting according to God’s Word to cleave to / identify with / never leave nor forsake / love his wife regardless of the consequences to himself, God’s will for humanity was executed.
Faith in God’s love is learned from experiencing love from the sons of God who have developed his likeness.
“all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love _____ as thyself.” (Galatians 5:14)
Let this mind be in you, which was also in YHVH’s Chosen Image,
- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
- But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant,
- and was made in the likeness of mortal human…
- humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross / tree.” (Philippians 2:4-8)

The Silence of the Lambs is a novel that won the 1988 Bram Stoker Award and 1989 Anthony Award for Best Novel. It was adapted into a film in 1991 that won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It is the only horror film to win Best Picture and the first and only horror film to win the “Big Five Awards” at the Oscars.
The Silence of the Lambs Title Is A Metaphor For Innocent Victims
As a little girl growing up on a sheep ranch in Montana Clarice Starling would hear lambs crying out in agony. When she investigated she discovered the spring lambs being slaughtered. Clarice couldn’t stand to see them suffering, so she attempted to escape with one, but failed. As an adult she becomes an FBI agent – a dangerous, lonely and tormented way of life – as a means of saving human innocents who can’t protect themselves.
Becoming an innocent victim herself.
It’s just a question of believing if saving someone else’s life is worth giving up yours.
And for Adam, it was.
God’s transfer of dominion to humanity was validated and his control upheld.
“take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Joshua 22:5)
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in YHVH’s Chosen Savior who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in YHVH’s Chosen Savior hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Adam is the prototype Savior whose “life which I now live in the flesh – joining Eve – I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” It was only through him that the faithless, gullible woman had connection to necessary physical, emotional, and spiritual resources.
“That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:3-7)
These principles applied to the first sinner as much as to ourselves.
“I [the woman] am crucified with YHVH’s Chosen One / Christ [Adam]: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but YHVH’s Anointed / Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
- Adam also “was the son of God” (Luke 3:38).
- Adam was YHVH’s first Chosen One.
- “For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world…But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him?” (Hebrews 2:5-6)
- Adam redeemed the woman from the curse of utter isolation, AKA death, when he joined her in the judgment of the law, including the experience of death and expulsion from the Garden of Eden to a desperate struggle for survival. He willingly chose to share the tree-connected, AKA crucifixion, death curse with the first fallen human.
- And the LORD God commanded the man, saying…of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)
- if a man…be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;).” (Deuteronomy 21:22-23)
- The Chosen One / Messiah / Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” (Galatians 3:13)
Mrs. Adam’s lived experience is foundational to the Christian concept of how the second Adam’s death on the cross accomplished restored life for humanity.
“For The Chosen One / Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit.” (I Peter 3:18)
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by HIS life” (Romans 5:10)
- “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren [family],
- Adam could have repudiated his wife and declared himself too good to identify with her, assuming the Creator could just clone another companion for him.
- Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren / family, in the midst of the congregation of believers / church will I sing praise unto thee.
- Can you not imagine Adam reassuring his wife that “I love you, and I’ll never turn my back on you.” I’m not asking you to speak from experience, mind. Maybe from a movie or romance novel…
- And again, I will put my trust in him.
- The woman didn’t trust God from whom she could only expect judgment. She trusted Adam because of what he did to save her from the dreadful isolation of death she brought upon herself by her sin. Can you not imagine Adam reassuring his wife that “Our Father will fix this, I don’t know how but I know he will.” Granted, given the type of fatherhood most people experience, that is hard for some people to imagine. Bottom line, she trusted Adam.
- And again, Behold I and the children [of God, family] which God hath given me.
- Adam reassuring his wife “We’ll still be able to have children, I’m sure of it.”
- Forasmuch then as the [human] children [of God] are partakers of flesh and blood, he [Son of God / Adam / Jesus Christ] also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;” (Hebrews 2:11-15)
- Can you not imagine Adam refusing to abandon his wife when she is seized by the shock of the death throughout her entire body? If not from experience, from the scene in the romance movie Titanic?
- not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law [as in “don’t eat the fruit!”] BUT that which is through the faith of Christ / God’s Chosen, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” (Philippians 3:9)
- Adam’s faith in Creator God’s ability to fulfill his promise to grant dominion, even to the extent of cancelling out in some way the death caused by Adam’s action, was proven by his acceptance of death.
Can we not see that that is the basis for faith in our own gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ?
“Behold the offspring [made from myself] which God hath given me. Forasmuch then as the offspring became mortal flesh and blood, I also likewise took part of the same; that through death I might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver the woman who was subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:13-15)
Can we not hear the roar of triumph by the winning side of righteous angels, mingled with the scream of anger by the defeated fallen angels when the Adams were not immediately struck down to death, but instead had their death sentences commuted?
“Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21)
Can we not also hear the screams of the lambs on whom the death sentence was commuted as YHVH killed then skinned the Adams’ own innocent animals to make coverings for his terrified children standing naked – defenseless against the Adversary – and ashamed before all creation?
Adam “lived in his wife” most of all, by his change from immortality to mortality which allowed the two original humans to merge together in order to reproduce into countless generations of children perpetuating, in a new modality, the life of the original parents.
“And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived…And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living..” (Genesis 4:1, 3:20)
