38) Covenant Of Dominion Held In Trust By The Order Of Melchizedek

“So God created man in his own image…And God blessed them, and God said unto them…have dominion over…every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:27-28)

“And the LORD God commanded the man…of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17)

And the LORD God called unto Adam…Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?… And the man said…I did…And the woman said…I did.” (Genesis 3:9-13)

Well, bummer.

But “God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

IN FACT – it is THROUGH DYING that God’s Chosen Heir TRIUMPHS!
  • “For if, when we were enemies
    • like the Woman who “sowed to the flesh” when she believed the lie of the devil to rebel against God and eat the fruit,
  • we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son
    • like the Worman by the first Adam who “sowed to the Spirit” when he obeyed God’s first law to never leave nor forsake his wife when he chose to eat the fruit despite knowing the dire consequences to himself,
  • much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
    • like the Woman by Adam’s protection instead of being enslaved to the devil. (Romans 5:10)

“Thou HAST put all things in subjection under his / man’s / ha-Adam’s feet….But now we see not yet all things put under him…

For it became him / God the Father, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings…

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren,…And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Forasmuch then…he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death / separation from God, that is, the devil;…And deliver them…[who were] subject to bondage.” (Hebrews 2:8-15)

Can we not see that this applies to the first as well as to the last Adam? And God’s Covenant of Dominion stands, simply transferred to Adam’s Chosen Heirs in an irrevocable testamentary trust. A revocable trust keeps the Grantor in control of the assets, allowing the Grantor to change or terminate the trust at will.  An Irrevocable Trust requires the Grantor to permanently relinquish ownership and control over the assets. God’s Trust to mankind is irrevocable.

“For I am the LORD, I change not…Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3:6-7)

The creation and operation of every trust requires three distinct parties:
  1. The Grantor creates the trust document and contributes the assets. In this case, the Grantor is the Creator of the earth and all its living populations, YHVH.
  2. The Beneficiary is the person or persons designated to receive the benefits of the trust – property and rights. In this case, this is the eternal Only Begotten Son of God – designated heir – after proving to be in the image and likeness of the father, i.e. representative / priest and dominus / king: Melchizedek.
  3. The Trustees handles the trust and manages the assets until the beneficiary takes over.
This first testament granting dominion who are in “our image, after our likeness” follows the standard requirements when probated for authenticity by any claimant.
  • written down
    • So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them…of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostril the breath of life; and man became a living soul…and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion.” (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:7)
    • ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn / heirs, which are written in heaven.” (Hebrews 12:22-23)
  • signed – Back in the day before the alphabet or universal literacy, symbols / signs were used to identify a person, especially authority figures. Think sign-et ring or military in-sign-ia. God tells us that his in-sign-ia is found in the heavens.
    • And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven…and let them be for signs,” For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead;” (Genesis 1:14, Romans 1:17-20)
    • Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, sign-ifieth the removing of those… things that are madewe receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved.” (Hebrews 12:24-28)
  • sealed / guaranteed to be truth by legal authority
    • “there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book…But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end.” (Daniel 12:1-4)
    • “in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof [to finally bring about the end of judgment]?” (Revelation 5:1-2)
  • witnessed per required legal process
    • “Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”(Revelation 5:1)
    • “I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” (Revelation 20:4)
  • confirmed by swearing with an oath to end of all strife / dispute on the matter. (Hebrews 6:13-17)
The “order of” acknowledges the life of the father continuing beyond his death in his offspring, recognized today scientifically as genetics, or founder of religious and social orders.  Adam was the first man given dominion over the earth, i.e. YHVH’s first King-Priest / Melchizedec, whether or not the title was documented. But only the begotten heir inherited Adam’s position as the Creator’s begotten Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, AKA Melchizedek. Based on the overlapping lifespans evidenced in the following chart, it is possible that not every begotten son / heir actually took on the responsibilities.

The first time the term “Melchizedek” is found in scripture can’t be taken to mean that he is the first, or only, Melchizedek in the narrative.

“”And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.” (Genesis 14:18)

Surely we can’t believe that in the thousands of years between Adam and Abram there were no priests of the most high God contending with the false priests of the false gods.

This” Melchi-sedec…being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also…King of peace…Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.” (Hebrews 7:1-4)

“This” Melchizedek is directing our attention a particular individual among a group of peers. We do this all the time when pointing out a particularly succulent piece of fruit or luscious pastry among others that we wish to purchase. “I want “this one.” This understanding is confirmed grammatically by the Greek term translated into English as “this man.” The focus of this Greek term is not “man”, as in male or human, but on “this one out of a group of similar ones.” The existence of other Melchizedeks is confirmed by both the reference to King David and the mention of an “order”, which is religiously a group of men or women who have taken vows to serve God.

“The LORD said unto my Lord [royal reference to self],

  • Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
  • The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
  • Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power…
  • The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” (Psalm 110)
Psalm 110 is labeled “A Psalm of David.” but is also a passage Jesus used to stump the scribes and Pharisees (Matt. 22:41–46). They knew the Messiah would be David’s son. But then Jesus hit them with Psalm 110:1, asking, “If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?” (Matthew 22:45). We need to rid ourselves of the false interpretation of “forever” as having a starting point, as in “from this time on I’ll love you forever”. As spelled out in the Hebrews passage, “forever = eternity”, a completely different dimension from time, and is therefore “backdated” into that hyperdimensional state of being at the time it is achieved. This is clarified by adding the nuances of Greek tenses, lost in the cruder English translation.

“Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but [possessing eternal life due to] [having been] made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually / forever.” (Hebrews 7:3)

This is how Jesus can be both “the root and the descendent of David” (Rev. 22:16), “1) descended from David according to the flesh, and . . . the Son of God in power . . . 2) by his resurrection from the dead” (Romans 1:3–4).
