76) Only Biblical Monotheism Gives Life

The entire mythos of paganism is, as is to be expected as a competitor, completely opposite to that of the Singularity Creator therefore Authority.

  • The sole purpose of humanity’s existence was to serve the gods.
  • A god’s statue was a physical embodiment of the god himself so cult statues / idols were given constant care and attention and a set of priests were assigned to tend to them.
  • Worship consisted of sacrificing – truly depriving themselves and their families of life support by instead giving their food and other human necessities to the priests at the temple. This was supposedly ritually laid out before the god’s cult statue in the form of a feast but ultimately or immediately would be distributed among his priests. Or sold in the shambles / bazaars.

Seriously, the whole thing was a scam after all, and even God’s priests can be larcenous.

So it comes as no surprise to discover that of all the multitude of religions around the world, the majority – not just the Christian – follow the Hebrew’s ancient account of a Creator and Supreme God.  This makes sense, as it provides the only account of a God powerful enough – because he controls creation – and compassionate enough – because he involves himself as a Father, to give his children eternal life.

“I am the LORD / YHVH Creator thy God…and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me…thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine helpI will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death.” (Hosea 13:4-14)

Only monotheism documents a specific individual and clearly describes his actions at the beginning and continuing throughout human history, with multiple means of validating the reports from a variety of scientific disciplines.

This God alone provides a means of salvation from disconnection from the Source of Life through reconnection of the eternal energy soul with a new, incorruptible body in a future resurrection.

in the Promised Son / Seed of the Woman shall all be made alive…when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all [opposing] rule and all authority and power…The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” (I Corinthians 15:22-28)

This account has been preserved unchanged for thousands of years and has been continuously followed as a way to eternal life by adherents to at least four ancient religions comprising over 50% of the world’s current population – Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

These scientifically significant prevalence and incidence statistics call for the investigation of these claims.

Of all the sources of information on the afterlife, the Hebrew Bible offers the only reliable, verifiable, and plausible information. There is good reason why, according to Guinness World Records. “Although it is impossible obtain exact figures, there is little doubt that the Bible is the world’s best-selling and most widely distributed book. Between 1815 and 1975 more than 5 billion copies of the Bible were printed and distributed.

And that’s not even taking into consideration the fact that the first section of this book commonly called the Torah, has been in continuous circulation for about 3,500 years. That can’t be said about any other document.

Faith in a Creator is true science – making a logical deduction about things we can’t see from what we can see. Belief in a powerful, life-giving and sustaining God is based on the evidence of intelligent design in creation, available to everyone whether they have read a word of the Bible or not.

  1. We can’t see God or the future, but we can logically deduce the existence of a unfathomably powerful designer from the immeasurably and thoroughly interconnected universe.
  2. The Bible provides a history of humanity from the beginning of our presence on earth, never invalidated, giving a basis for trusting the account of the future fate of mankind.
  3. From our own personal experience we can believe the record that humans cannot, by ourselves, overcome our self-centered nature therefore constantly bring damage and destruction to ourselves and others, AKA “sin.”

When we finally admit the existence of, and our need for, the all-powerful Creator to rescue us from the problems we invariably find ourselves in, it is our responsibility to call upon him.

“As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD / Yahweh shall save me…He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me…Cast thy burden upon the LORD / Yahweh, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55)

In all of history, there is no evidence equal to that of the account of YHVH’s Savior’s resurrection validating the prophecies from the Torah of this event.

From the very beginning of history the LORD / YHVH Creator God promised to send a redeemer – one who would transfer his life to restore the lives of all humanity. The proof that his redemption was successful is the restoration of the redeemer’s life as well.

“we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus / Yeshua / YHVH’s Savior again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee… he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man [i.e. through his resurrection YHVH’s promise is proven trustworthy!] is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things.” (Acts 13:32-39)

Legal Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ by W. R. Miller

How do we know whether an historical event actually occurred? 1) Someone recorded it (or testifies to it);
2) They show themselves to be reliable as a source;
3) There is no contrary evidence.

Christianity bases its claims on actual historical events. The central claim is the Resurrection, that Jesus Christ of Nazareth physically died on a cross, and on the third day, physically emerged from his tomb alive and well, and appeared to over 500 eyewitnesses.

A method commonly used today to determine the historicity of an eventbegin with the evidence available to us and then infer what would, if true, provide the best explanation of that evidence.” In other words, we ought to accept an event as historical if it gives the best explanation for the evidence surrounding it.

When we look at the evidence…there is solid historical grounds for the truth that Jesus Christ rose from the dead…

we do not need to assume that the New Testament is inspired by God or even trustworthy…these three truths are so strong that they are accepted by serious historians of all stripes.

  1. The tomb in which Jesus was buried was discovered empty by a group of women on the Sunday following the crucifixion.
  2. Jesus’ disciples had real experiences with one whom they believed was the risen Christ.
  3. As a result of the preaching of these disciples, which had the resurrection at its center, the Christian church was established and grew.

the resurrection of Christ is the best explanation for each of them individually. But…when these facts are taken together we have an even more powerful case for the resurrection.

Agnostics or atheists falling back on a half-hearted agreement that life is composed of energy but convincing oneself that it dissipates into a general pool of universal energy upon one’s death are in denial of the obvious fact of a higher order of being required to

  • convert energy to mass and
  • construct a stable system of interactive and interconverting mass to energy

for the entire universe and one’s own existence.

Any sentient being capable of thinking logically through from the beginning to end of

  • awareness of the incredibly complex beauty and diversity of nature,
  • knowledge of the interconnectedness of ecology which is being destroyed by mankind’s ruthless exploitation,
  • evidence of natural death every Fall
  • with resurrection by seed which inexplicably transforms through the sun’s energy into a massively complex life form
  • most evident through our own personal experience of starting life as a single celled organizing and transforming into a sentient being with the power to become what we choose to be in this lifetime

must acknowledge a Force of Life.

So the options for existence after the death of the material body ending the maintenance of the electrical grid of the soul and the life force logically reduce to two:

  1. Leave this life connected with the Singularity Source of Life as established during this mortal life,
    1. in children and other individuals incapable of making an informed decision
    2. or by individuals who know enough to chose God’s way, however much of it they know.
  2. Leave this life still disconnected, as willfully chosen during this life. from the Singularity Source of Life and Authority

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations…Then shall the King say unto them…on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels…” (Matthew 25:31-46)

This legal judgment is also reported to us by the same man who witnessed and reported YHVH’s Savior’s resurrection. Legally, according to precedent, he is deemed a reliable witness. Best to take him seriously.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works….And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” ((Revelation 20:12,15)

This will come as a shock to the Christians who think praying a prayer is all that it takes, then you can go about your business as it suits you.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea…And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that…maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life…(Revelation 21)
