Kingdom Come

We find all the requisites of a godly society included with the establishment of YHVH’s prototypical nation of Israel under Moses:

• political law and order for safety from danger within and without,
• A national language unifying the mixed multitude that joined the Hebrew exodus from Egypt and steadily amalgamated into Israel, 
• a moral code in an interdependent web of society 
• detailed functions of government leaders
• requirements for citizenship in God’s holy nation.

We can understand this by comparison to the American founders’ Constitution of the United States describing how the government is structured and operates.

• There are three branches of government with their powers: Legislative (Congress), Executive (President,) and Judicial (Federal court system).
• A system of checks and balances prevents any one of these separate powers from becoming dominant.

The following is quoted from a Humanist perspective:

The Code of Hammurabi is a contemporaneous example [to the Mosaic law] of the constituting (verb) of one nation under god providing liberty and justice to all citizens through the rule of law publicly available therefore, therefore able to be appealed to for justice, in a written Constitution (noun). The laws are written in the same “if…then” format as the law of Moses, providing punishments for breaking the laws. It also declares, like the law of Moses, to have been given directly to the human ruler by the god.

With this background in mind, we will find the exact same purpose of the law and even many of the same laws and principles, giving rise to claims that Moses never met God on Mount Sinai but simply plagiarized the earlier Code of Hammurabi.

If we grant that all humanity shares the same needs for security and social order we won’t jump to false conclusions about the source of the Mosaic code.

We can also see the same essential similarities between the later American Constitution and the earlier Israelite, but I don’t think anyone accuses the writers of that document of plagiarizing the Bible. 

Legislative Branch

• Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image [as a repository for the spirit allowing interaction],

• If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will

  • give you rain in due season
  • give peace in the land
  • multiply you, 
  • establish my covenant with you [not a later generation]
  • set my tabernacle dwelling place [as God in the flesh, Revelation 21:3] among you
• But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise my statutes,
  • ye shall be slain before your enemies:
  • they that hate you shall reign over you.
  • I will send the pestilence among you; and
  • ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
• And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins...
  • And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and…your daughters 
  • I will bring the land into desolation…And
  • I will scatter you among the heathen, and
• If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
  • Then will I remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen,

Judicial Branch

“Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses.” (Exodus 18:25-26)

“If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment…being matters of controversy within thy gates: then…thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment…and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee.” (Deuteronomy 17:8-12)

Executive Branch

• “Thou shalt…set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren…
  • thou mayest not set a stranger over thee…
  • he shall not multiply horses [excessive military expenditures] to himself,
  • Neither shall he multiply wives to himself [alliances with foreign powers] that his heart turn not away:
  • neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold [burdensome taxation]…
• he shall write him a copy of this law in a book…he shall read therein all the days of his life…That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren [true representative government]” (Deuteronomy 17:15-20)

Moses’ system of law is only possible for those who love, obey, and choose to identify with YHVH.

“Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are upon the sinful kingdom” (Amos 7)

Since all the earth is the LORD’s, this applies to all nations, not just Israel. And because the biblical God does not change with the times history is a cycle of recurrence until the basic conflict is settled once and for all at the last judgment.

The Top 10 Global Risks for 2024 (written in 2023):

From Amos 1-2:

• because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron…the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir.
  • in 2024 Syria ended a brutal 13 year civil war during which hundreds of thousands of Syrians were killed and nearly fourteen million people—more than half the prewar population—were displaced, leaving a deeply impoverished and weakened state split into segments controlled by various armed groups with varying affiliations with Iran, Israel, Turkey, Russia, and the United States seeking total control of a reunited Syria.
• because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom…I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza…and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish.
  • The fighting in Gaza / Palestine will expand – Between 7 October 2023 and 22 October 2025, at least 68,234 Palestinians have been reportedly killed in the Gaza Strip and 170,373 have been injured, with deliberately imposed famine, blockade of medical supplies, and destruction of medical facilities.
  • The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory concluded that Israel is responsible for the commission of genocide in Gaza through acts that meet the criteria set forth in the Genocide Convention. The responsibility for these atrocity crimes lies with Israeli authorities at the highest echelons who have orchestrated a genocidal campaign for almost two years now.
  • Is this fulfilling “the remnant of the Philistines shall perish? We can’t make a conclusion from one phrase. The whole of scripture has to be brought in for review – exactly like in a human court of law rendering a verdict of guilty to be punished by a death sentence. 
• because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom / Jordan, and remembered not the brotherly covenant…I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus / Lebanon, which shall devour the palaces thereof.
  
  • Between October 2023 and the November 27, 2024, ceasefire, Israeli strikes killed more than 3,961 people in Lebanon, with deliberate or indiscriminate attacks on journalists, civilians, medics, financial institutions, and peacekeepers, More than 1.2 million people were displaced by the time of the November ceasefire, thousands of buildings and houses were destroyed, and entire border villages were reduced to rubble. Hezbollah fired thousands of munitions into northern Israel and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, killing at least 30 civilians. At least 562,000 people crossed the border from Lebanon into Syria after the escalation of hostiles in September 2024.
• because he did pursue his brother with the sword [ran him down, didn’t allow surrender]…I will send a fire upon Edom which shall devour the palaces…because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: I will kindle a fire [in Ammon / modern Jordan] and it shall devour the palaces…And their king shall go into captivity.
• Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime…I will send a fire upon Moab / modern Jordan, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die and…all the princes thereof with him.
  • This and other references to destroying every possible remnant of a dead body by fire is interpreted as being a pagan desecration that Christians should not employ. For example, the ancient Scandinavians believed that this allowed a complete transformation, which sounds like reincarnation.
  • From a biblical perspective this obvious curse must derive from the ancient knowledge of the resurrection of all dead by YHVH for judgment, with the fall gods’ claim that they could usurp the Most High God’s judgment and send souls to eternal fire without a protective body.
  • Job, just as ancient, rejects the notion that cremation is inherently ungodly: “For I known that my redeemer liveth…And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.: (Job 19:25-27) After all, how many of God’s people were burned alive for their steadfast faith in God? “I will be with thee when thou walkest through the fire,” (Isaiah 43:3)

The media predictions came true. As will the rest of God’s predictions – on Israel.

• because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments…I will send a fire upon Judah / modern Orthodox Jews, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

The 20th Century Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel was approved by members of the Jewish community of Palestine and the international Zionist movement promoting Israel as a modern European style secular state without religious control.

The document’s first section reads: “The Land of Israel was the birthplace of the Jewish people. Here, their spiritual, religious, and political identity was shaped.

“Shaped – not mandated by the LORD God of Israel through Moses to love the LORD thy God, and obey his voice, and cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days.”

Israel’s frank mandate was drawn up by the League of Nations after the fall of the Ottoman Empire in WWI for British administration of the territories of Palestine and Transjordan and was in force from 1923 to 1948.

The Mandate required Britain to put into effect Britain’s Balfour Declaration supporting a “national home for the Jewish people” alongside the Palestinian Arabs, who composed the vast majority of the local population.

The British controlled Palestine for almost three decades, overseeing a succession of protests, riots and revolts between the Jewish and Palestinian Arab communities which ultimately produced the 1936–1939 Arab revolt and the 1944–1948 Jewish insurgency.

The United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine was passed on 29 November 1947; this envisaged the creation of separate Jewish and Arab states, which failed when on the last day of the British Mandate, the Jewish community in Palestine issued the Israeli Declaration of Independence resulting in the 1947–1949 Palestine war. This ended with victory for a Jewish state and no state for Palestinian Arabs, instead with the Jordanian annexation of the Palestinian-assigned West Bank of the Jordan River and the Egyptian All-Palestine Protectorate in the Gaza Strip.

David Ben-Gurion, the head of the large Socialist party, became the first prime minister of Israel’s constitutionally designed coalition government.

Tel Aviv is a modern city similar to a coastal city in the United States like Miami,^[10] and is considered one of the top party cities in the world. It is typical to find bars and night clubs open until dawn, even on Shabbat.

Israel’s national multi-religious society is reflected in its legal recognition of marriages under the faiths of Jewish, Muslim, and Druze communities, while, interestingly, only ten specified denominations of Christianity.^[6]

Israel’s secular politics is reflected in its

• abortion law and government funding which is among the world’s most liberal
• LGBTQ community is afforded all manner of legal rights even greater to many in the Western World
• Tel Aviv was referred to by the Calgary Herald as one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world,^[11] famous for its annual Pride parade and gay beach,^[12], ranked as the best gay city in 2011,^[14] 

• because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes… I will not turn away the punishment thereof from Israel / non-observant diaspora Israelites.

The U.S. Zionist Party: Unmasking an Unofficial Power in American Politics

The American political landscape is traditionally framed as a two–party system dominated by Democrats and Republicans. Yet, beneath this binary structure exists a powerful, unofficial faction whose influence transcends party lines: the U.S. Zionist Party. Since the creation of Israel in 1948 to May 2025 the United States has provided Israel $174 billion in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding, despite gross human rights violations.

And this is the worst sin by both Israel and America – relying on human resources instead of The LORD God.

We can’t seriously expect that America, although not in existence in Amos’ time so not named, is going to be exempt from judgment?
