194) YHVH Does His Own New Thing

From Isaiah 41-42

  • “Who raised up the righteous man from the east…gave the nations before himI the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he…
    • The isles / Gentile nations saw it, and feared…helped everyone his neighbor [to destroy you]
      • But! thou, Israel, art my servant / government minister…the seed of Abraham my friend…Fear not, for I am with thee...I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness..
  • AND I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.
    • For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word. Behold, they [my ministers] are all vanity;
  • Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him:
    • HE shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles
    • I the LORD…give THEE [alternate to the nation of Israel] for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles…HE will magnify the law, and make it honourable…

This condemnation is clearly not just that the Jewish leadership rejected Yeshua as their king, nor that the Jews in general were not walking in the law of Moses, but specific to this denouncement by Isaiah that the Jews were rejecting their God-given Melchizedekian mandate to “be unto me a kingdom of priestsin order to lead all the other nations of the world to love the LORD God.

From Isaiah 42-43:

“Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his [primary] law [to take Melchizedian dominion over the WHOLE earth].

now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel –

“I” [since “you” aren’t doing your job] will bring…my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by MY name [of YHVH, in contrast to Israelite or Jew].

Let [command!] ALL the nations be gathered together!

All means all – including the nation of Israel into this new coalition.

Behold, I will do a new thing; THIS people [coalition of all nations in contrast to just the nation of Israel] have I formed for myself; THEY shall shew forth my praise.”

  1. One shall say, I am the LORD‘s; (ancient Hebrews)
  2. and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob / Israel (Judaism)
  3. and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD / YHVH Creator, and surname / identify himself by the name / account of Israel (Christianity).

Thus saith the LORD, the King of Israel, AND his redeemer the LORD of hosts;

  1. I am the first,
  2. and I am the last;
  3. and beside me there is no God…

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.” (Isaiah 44:6,22)

Don’t let’s assume that because this prophecy is spoken by Isaiah that it wasn’t until Isaiah’s time that this directive was issued by YHVH. Isaiah is certainly harking back to the beginning of the constitution of the nation of Israel when he references giving Egypt, Ethiopia and Seba to ransom Israel.

And Isaiah is assuredly familiar with Balaam’s prophecy stating this same objection. By the way, Balaam was not an Israelite but he was obviously a Hebrew since he served YHVH.

The ultimate proof that God did not simply single Israel out for favoritism among the nations, that he had a specific purpose for giving territory to Israel, is that he treated them exactly as he did the Canaanites when Israel took over the religion of the Canaanites.

God destroyed them.

“the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things…Who will render to every man according to his deeds…unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness – indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile…For there is no respect of persons with God.” (Romans 2:2-11)

“Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father: For

  • For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel,
  • and made also molten images for Baalim
  • Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom
    • to communicate with the lords of death
  • and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
  • He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

    Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him.” (II Chronicles 28:1-5)

    “Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates…Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

    But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation…Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them. Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work…I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest…even into the hand of the Chaldeans. And I will cast thee out (Jeremiah 22:1-29)

     “Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the LORDbut he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

    Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen…And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

    Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand. And all…the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon. And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire…And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

    To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah.” (II Chronicles 36:11-21)

    Do you think maybe this still applies today?

    As of 2025 the NATION of Israel has not returned unto the LORD God, and survives only by serving the interests of America.
