“there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction…they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage…
it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” (II Peter 2:1,18-22)
My Top 8 Female Headed Christian Bands.
Hello Metalheads! There are many Christian metal bands, as well as rock bands. These bands are my favourites, which I think that you may also like them. Don’t take it religiously, nor like I’m bashing on you or anything like that.
(By the way, I hate religion too)
It’s all about Love and knowing who you are.
Up through the first half of the 20th century, Western women of the middle and upper classes were expected to cover their heads in public. Throughout Western society only prostitutes or showgirls publicly exposed their faces as well as bodies as inducements for immoral behavior.
It was the sexual revolution that led women to discard head coverings in public. Now, even in churches, women follow immoral fashion trends rather than biblical guidelines.
Let’s review the exact biblical guidelines.
“every woman that prayeth or prophesieth [speaks for God, using exhortation from scripture not new revelation] with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered…
In ancient society, female slaves had their hair cut short to reflect their slave status which set them up – in any slave society including the American – to be sexually assaulted by any man with impunity.
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
No! Because in congregations accepting slaves as equal in God’s presence the slave women were free – unlike in public – to cover their society-imposed shame.
This contrasted sharply with secular women in Roman society at the time of Paul’s writing. where a woman’s elaborate upswept hairstyle framing a bold and heavily makeup-enhanced face their was one of the strongest indicators of their place in society. Exactly like popular American culture.

“Doth not even nature [the innate properties by which one person or race differs from another] itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”

The shame of long hair is that good grooming goes hand-in-hand with being part of a civilized society. The Romans inherited from the Greeks the term “barbarian” denoting uncivilized peoples, leading to the Latin “barb” for beard, and from which we can recognize “barber”. Uncut and ungrromed hair was so indelibly associated with the uncivilized men conquered and enslaved by the Roman soldiers that all respectable Roman men kept their hair cut short.[3]
Additionally, as with female slaves being identifiable in public by short hair, male slaves were identifiable by their beards.
But if a woman have long hair, it is [conversely] a glory / dignity / honor to her: for her hair is given her for a covering / vesture / the opposite of exhibition leading to exploitation.” (I Corinthians 11:5-16)
- More than 1 in 4 women in Washington DC, United States, have experienced some form of sexual harassment on public transportation.
- According to the National Crime Victimization Survey, which includes crimes that were not reported to the police, 232,960 women in the U.S. were raped or sexually assaulted in 2006 which translates to more than 600 women every day.[15]
- “Rape Culture” is an integral feature of campuses of US universities. Given the pervasive nature of violent sexual crimes in US universities, in 2014 the White House intervened by setting up a task force to investigate 139 universities, including Harvard, Cornell, Brown and Stanford.[17]
- According to a study published in the journal Social Science & Medicine, the Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden which have often been dubbed as feminist utopias, in fact have disproportionately high rates of Intimate Partner Violence against women.[18]
- Sweden has amongst the highest reported rapes per capita at 63.5 out of 100,000 of population which is 35 times more than that of India which has 1.8 rapes reported out of 100,000.[19]
- A student union leader at the University of Ottawa highlighted “rape culture” in Canadian campuses and how student leaders perpetuated that within their own circles.[20]
- Over 400,000 women are sexually assaulted in England and Wales every year.[21]
- Numerous popular websites seem to support rape and slut-shaming, and directly and indirectly encourage sexual assault.
Women between ages 18 and 24 are at the greatest risk for rape.
Over the last several decades, many steps have been taken to address this seemingly intractable issue. The Violence Against Women Act, a federal law passed in 1994 has been re-authorized multiple times.
What, then, are we missing?
Christian society has become scandalous to non-Christian societies.
While Western countries are irrationally denying the interactive dynamics of rape, and continuing to promote a permissive society for women, the national rates of rape in Moslem countries is 3 times less than the world-wide national average.
But while India has reported rape of 12.9 per 100,000 population.
- White Christian countries have 9 times more at an average reported rape of 142.5 per 100,000 population.
- While America, the top White Christian country with world-wide social media influence, has 42 times more at the rate at 546 per 100,000 population.
The current trend in Western democracies driving personal freedoms over social responsibility and, most of all religious morality is the same track that led to the biblical account of the fall of Judea at the hands of the Babylonians, then again in 80 AD at the hands of the Romans, and is destroying America now.
Experts are reporting that we may be in an epidemic of adult children cutting off contact with their parents. The parents report that these estrangements often happen without notice or explanation, leaving them feeling deeply hurt and in the dark.
Baby boomers were raised by parents who tended to parent in fairly traditional, authoritarian ways. Corporal punishment was still an acceptable way of disciplining children. Children being afraid of their parents was not only normalized, it was often regarded as an essential strategy to ensure good behavior in children.
The children of those Boomer parents – the Millennials – often parented their children in ways that were a reaction to how they were parented, but one consequence of this parenting style is that the children of Millennial parents have fewer opportunities to experience the kind of anger and disappointment with their parents that psychologists tell us is an important part of learning about healthy conflict resolution. They may take the extreme step of cutting off their families completely, in an effort to extrude the challenging emotions they are experiencing.
And so, we arrive at a situation where a generation who grew up afraid of their parents end up being afraid of being estranged from their children.
In their book Why Empires Fall, Historian Peter Heather and political economist John Rapley explore the uncanny parallels, and productive differences between ancient Rome and the modern West…both empires sowed the seeds of their own destruction. Has the era of Western global domination indeed reached its end?
“Corruption and bad government lead to inflation, starvation, disease, and excessive taxation. The last few centuries of the Roman Empire were presided over by some of the most corrupt and inept emperors in the history of Rome.”
We can match up Isaiah 65 with Matthew 23.
“I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts…Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day…
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD…I measure their former work into their bosom…they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain…Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye…did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
Therefore thus saith the LORD God, Behold…ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen…and call his servants by another name:”
News flash. That other name is NOT “Christian” instead of “Jewish”.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;
- To him that overcometh will I give…a new name / title / attributes / powers which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it…
- Him that overcometh…I will write upon him my new name.” (Revelation 2:17, 3:12)
We might surname that new name “Overcomer” in the clan “Leaders”.
Karl Barth’s theology was developed in close and dynamic dialogue with the society and circumstances in which he found himself...one of the Church’s most vehement voices against Hitler and Nazism. Living in Germany at the time, Barth served as a primary author of the Confessing Church’s defining document, the Barmen Declaration. The goal of this declaration was to connect Christian truths with necessary action against the Nazi regime.
In 1934, Barth refused to give an unconditional oath to Hitler and was…expelled from Germany…He joined the Swiss Armed Forces as a declaration of his passion for the cause.
According to Barth, the anti-Semitism of the National Socialist regime precluded it from being considered under the Romans 13 umbrella of God-established authority. In Barth’s words, “he who rejects and persecutes the Jews rejects and persecutes Him who died for the sins of the Jews—and then, and only thereby for our sins as well. He who is a radical enemy of the Jews, were he in every other regard an angel of light, shows himself, as such, to be a radical enemy of Jesus Christ. Anti-Semitism is sin against the Holy Ghost. For anti-Semitism means rejection of the grace of God…”
And racism is still a big part of Christianity today – especially against Semitic Arabs.
Racism among white Christians is higher than among the nonreligious. That’s no coincidence…The relationship between holding racist views and white Christian identity is actually stronger among more frequent church attenders than among less frequent church attenders
Seven symptoms of racism in church. If you dare, take a free on-line test to gauge your implicit racism.
Antisemitic racism, blatant or so ingrained that the holder is utterly oblivious to it, is what makes the dispensationalist consignment of Jews – and not Gentiles – to “The” great tribulation so easy to accept.
And bringing down chastisement on Christianity.
Applies to a lot of religious leaders, many of whom identify as Christians “saved by grace” who can therefore sin with impunity and provides open access to anyone who prays “I believe.”
Put the famous John 3:16 verse into context. Yeshua is speaking to a ruler of the Jews, someone who could probably recite the entire Torah from memory. He is also a Pharisee, a humanistic sect of Judaism caught up in imposed legalism to prove one’s superior status, rights and destiny. Yeshua had to re-educate him on the fundamentals of biblical salvation – God’s promise to recreate a human, the last Adam, in God’s image and likeness, in order to redeem humanity from the curse of death imposed by the first Adam and restore permanent connection / eternal life with the Singularity source of Life.
At that time, in that place, to Nicodemus and the likewise educated readers of John’s gospel, Yeshua is that Promised Savior.
But to the persons living prior to Yeshua ha Meshiach’s entrance into the world, and everywhere around the world who never had access to Genesis 3:15 regarding the Savior Seed of the Woman or the Apostles’ gospels or letters, God is not unjust. He will not condemn people who never heard so never had the opportunity to believe on the name of Jesus Christ.
When we break down the terms into their most fundamental meanings, what we find on the docket of the last judgment is condemnation for a much broader category of behavior. The Bible outlines that one’s actions on the basis of whatever revelation of Creator God they’ve been given, is what saves from eternal damnation. This is basic legal justice, like the difference between 1st degree murder and accidental manslaughter.
“he that believeth not is condemned already [before the day of judgment], because he hath not [during his lifetime] believed in the name / attributes of the only begotten Son of God.
The English enunciation of “Jesus Christ” is not what saves. As detailed in the relevant post, names define attributes, not necessarily a specific individual. Long before YHVH’s Anointed Savior was born into humanity or Christianity developed as a religion there were “sons of God.” These were humans who has been accredited by God – not registered by the human – for having developed into his likeness, with his attributes.
They spread the truth – the message that salvation from the anticipated awful eternal existence in the underworld of the damned was achieved, not by pagan practices of offering sacrifices to the priests of the gods to improve the condition of their ancestors, but by their actions proving their belief now – and faith for their future – in the Creator and Sustainer of Life.
Frankly, people don’t like it because it doesn’t allow them to do whatever they want.
The reality is that the biblical way of life doesn’t establish arbitrary rules of religious morality.
The Bible informs us of irreversible laws of reality in physics and the intrinsically self-centered nature of autonomous beings and hyper dimensional states that cause chaos, entropy, and destruction.
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
Despite the light bulb turning on by contemplating regeneration of life in nature or seeking to know a Holy God or reading scripture or hearing preaching, some people believe the first lie – I can separate from Almighty God and not suffer the consequences. Why? Self-centered exploitation of others trumps love for others.
“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:18-20)
And a relationship with God necessarily includes being on good terms with all who have chosen and been reconnected to the Singularity.
“Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child [includes adults who have become innocent and trust in YHVH for daily bread, protection, etc.] in my name receiveth me.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!” (Matthew 18:3-4)
“I say unto you…whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” (Matthew 5:22)
In context, YHVH’s Savior is saying that anyone who falsely calls a righteous person a worker of iniquity is in danger of ending up in the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
- “The foolishshall not stand in thy sight:
- thou hatest all workers of iniquity.” (Psalm 5:5)
- The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God...
- all the workers of iniquity…who eat up my people as they eat bread…”(Psalm 14:1-6)
If you’ve never experienced persecution for standing up for what’s right, you might need to review your stance. There is no no-man’s-land in the spirit dimension. There are only two options – good or evil, light or dark.
