From Daniel 11:
- “in his [the king of the north’s estate [i.e., as his successor but not precisely his heir] shall stand up [come to power] a vile / deceitful person, to whom they shall not give the honour [military victory] of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries…the prince of the covenant [peace treaty].
- “For the vile person will speak villany…to practise hypocrisy.” (Isaiah 32:6)
- And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully:
- for he shall…enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province (Daniel 11:21-24, 44)
Both scripture and history identify the vile king as the ruler of the 4th empire.
Julius Caesar is seen as the main example of Caesarism, a form of political rule led by a charismatic strongman
- whose rule is based upon a cult of personality,
- whose rationale is the need to rule by force during a period of widespread unrest,
- founding a government ruled by a military regime
- and establishing a new social order, by violent means.
Napoleon Bonaparte and Benito Mussolini frankly defined themselves as Caesarists.
President Trump also fits this portrait.

- The Trump campaign strategy was straightforward: eschew the mainstream press, focusing instead on appealing to young men and disaffected minority voters with high-profile appearances on popular non-political podcasts, bolstered by influencers that have displaced the traditional media among those voters.

- During his campaign President Donald Trump spoke with certainty about ending Russia’s war in Ukraine in the first 24 hours of his new administration and finding lasting peace from the devastating 18-month conflict in Gaza, but instead both conflicts have only worsened.
There are other significant matches to the biblical prophecy and historical templates.
Napoleon’s campaign in Egypt was marked by key events like the battle of the Pyramids, but Napoleon’s forces also defeated superior Ottoman forces in the Galilee, in battles near Mount Tabor (near Nazareth) and on the Jordan River. Napoleon’s campaigns in Egypt and Syria are recognized as the beginning of the modern period in Middle Eastern history.
Under Mussolini’s leadership, Fascist Italy sought to increase its influence in the Middle East by befriending the Islamic world. Grandiose plans that were prepared in the summer of 1940 for Fascist territorial expansion in Africa and the Middle East.
Daniel’s prophetic details match up item by item by each of their victorious claimants for the fourth empire – first the British who conquered Napoleon and took economic, political and military control of most of the Middle East, then the Americans which took over the British empire after WWII.
On May 14, 1948, in Tel Aviv, Jewish Agency Chairman David Ben-Gurion proclaims the State of Israel, becoming Israel’s first premier. With war financier America’s backing, Israel took not only full control of their U.N.-allocated share of Palestine, but additional key Arab-designated territories. The Western nations fully supported this lawless action to expand its foothold in the Middle East.
The “bilateral” assistance from the Israelis is, simply, killing Moslems and expanding Israeli-American territorial control in the Middle East.
During the Six-Day War of 1967 Israel again greatly increased its borders, capturing from Jordan, Egypt, and Syria the Old City of Jerusalem, the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the Golan Heights.

In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed a historic peace agreement in which Israel returned the Sinai in exchange for Egyptian recognition and peace.

“At the time appointed HE shall return, and come toward the south;”
That territory can only be Gaza.

In 2023-2024 during the Gaza War, President Biden politically and militarily supported Israel’s carpet bombing of Gaza, killing at least 50,021 Palestinians and wounding 113,274, and rendering it uninhabitable.
Shockingly, Israel’s most ardent American supporters of these and other atrocities are Christians.
Nothing spotlights that truism more than President Donald Trump’s burgeoning administration, and it’s worth considering the implications for its Israel policy.

- Vice President J D Vance: “A majority of citizens of this country think that their saviour, and I count myself a Christian, was born, died and resurrected in that narrow little strip of territory off the Mediterranean. The idea that there is ever going to be an American foreign policy that doesn’t care a lot about that slice of the world is preposterous because of who Americans are.”
- Southern Baptist pastor and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, ambassador to Israel, said about his nomination as ambassador to Israel, “there is a great level of not only excitement but a deeply emotional reaction that I have had to this, because I see it as a calling.”
- Christians United for Israel Action Fund chairwoman Sandra Parker: “There is no better person to represent the American people in Jerusalem at this time [than Mike Huckabee” because these are immutable tenets of his core beliefs.”
- Philos Project executive director Luke Moon: “Having so many significant members of the administration whose Christian faith informs their views of Israel presumes a default posture that Israel is good, which is a posture held by the vast majority of the two billion Christians on Earth.
Upon Donald Trump’s resumption of a second term presidency in 2025 he fully supported Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s violation of a cease fire in Gaza, destruction of the hospitals, blockade of food, water, fuel and medical supplies, and the permanent mass relocation of all Palestinians to other countries.
As you read the prophecies, stay consistent with the ID of “he” as the ruler of the Fourth Empire – the President of the United States as of 1948.
“HE shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the the province / a foreign region brought under the control of the government”
Trump unabashedly uses the American private sector as an instrument of national power. As Calvin Coolidge remarked in 1925, “The chief business of the American people is business. They are profoundly concerned with producing, buying, selling, investing and prospering in the world.” Trump is not afraid to embody it.
May 2025 – President Donald J. Trump’s first official trip locked in over $2 trillion in great deals—including
- a $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia,
- a $1.2 trillion economic exchange agreement with Qatar,
- $243.5 billion in U.S.-Qatar commercial and defense deals,
- and $200 billion in U.S.-United Arab Emirates commercial deals.
Qatari officials have described reports that the country’s royal family is gifting a $400 million Boeing jet to President Donald Trump as “inaccurate”. because the deal involving the plane had yet to be finalized.
Trump toured the plane in February when it was parked at Palm Beach International Airport. It is said to be so opulently configured that it has been referred to as a “flying palace.”
The president hit out at those who were critical of the gift in a post on TruthSocial. The arrangement has set off alarm bells about the legality under the Constitution of accepting such a valuable gift from a foreign government. Trump does not subordinate himself to the Constitution.
