The earliest known springtime public sex rituals took place in ancient Egypt. Early Egyptian mythology includes a tale similar to the story of Noah. The sun god, Ra, recoiled from humanity’s wickedness and killed almost everyone along the Nile…the few survivors…engaged in public, orgiastic sex that repopulated Egypt.
In commemoration, every spring as the Nile flooded, the Egyptians held fertility festivals involving public drunkenness, dancing, and group sex. It’s not clear what proportion of the population participated, but according to ancient historians, many did.
Ancient Greece, where Dionysus was the god of wine, pleasure, fertility, and religious ecstasy…Dionysus rides a chariot followed by dancers—the women naked, the men with huge erections. The god’s acolytes…celebrated him during festivals called orgia (orgies).
In early Rome, the fertility god was Liber…Liber’s springtime festivals culminated in a sacred ritual involving a married noblewoman and a priest doing the deed in public with the community watching.
Around 200 B.C., the Romans adopted Dionysus, changing his name to Bacchus…Bacchanalia…took place monthly featuring public drunkenness and communal lasciviousness. Ultimately, Bacchanalia devolved into mass rape of both women and men…In 186 B.C. when Rome had almost one million inhabitants, Livy reported the arrest of 7,000 Bacchanalians, around 1 percent of the population, most of whom were executed…
springtime fertility rituals continued. In some, priests petitioned the gods for good harvests during ceremonial public sex with temple prostitutes. In others, some revelers repaired to newly planted fields for drunken orgies.
“Sermons from the Mound”, an unmistakable sexual play on words, describes the inevitable convergence of sexual depravity with false gods.
and ye shall dance, sing, feast, make music and love, all in my praise.…for behold: all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals...
Many Wiccans and witches believe that all things contain a primal energy or vital life force that moves within and among them. This energy is most easily experienced through sexual activity, especially when it is raised with spiritual intent. Through their sexual intimacy, practitioners can participate in a primal moment of creation: a moment when two divine forces or beings—imagined as a many-gendered God/dess making love with her mirror reflection; or a lunar Goddess and a solar God; or a genderless yin and yang, nothing and something—communed together in an erotic union whose vibrations continue to animate the universe.
Obviously that is claiming to be the alternative to the Singularity.
This gives the logical reason why promiscuous sex is an irreducible part of any attempt at increasing one’s spiritual life energy / power apart from the irreducible Singularity.
–National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Policy director,
Paul Ettelbrick (Kurtz, 2003)Michelangelo Signorile describes the campaign “to fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution completely–to demand the right to marry not as a way of adhering to society’s moral codes, but rather to…radically alter an archaic institution.”...
study showed that 28 percent of homosexual males had had sexual encounters with one thousand or more partners. Furthermore, 79 percent said more than half of their sex partners were strangers…Almost half of the white homosexual males…said that they had had at least 500 different sexual partners during the course of their homosexual careers,”…
Since part of the compulsion of homosexuality seems to be a need on the part of the homophile to “absorb” masculinity from his sexual partners, [emphasis added] he must be constantly on the lookout for [new partners].
Gay life is most typical and works best when sexual contacts are impersonal and even anonymous…far more preoccupied with sex than heterosexuals are, and far more likely to think of a good sex life as many partners under many exciting circumstances….
It must be remembered that in the gay world the only real criterion of value is physical attractiveness…The young homosexual will find that his homosexual brothers usually only care for him as a sexual object. Although they may invite him out to dinner and give him a place to stay, when they have satisfied their sexual interest in him, they will likely forget about his existence and his own personal needs[emphasis added]…
Black Death — bubonic plague — wiped out a third of Europe’s population in six terrible years. Over the next century [that is, 100 years keep in mind], it killed [a total of] 40 million people as it spread across the globe.
AIDS soon will rank as mankind’s greatest scourge. And while 14th-century medicine had nothing to offer plague victims, 21st-century modern medicine does, but it doesn’t get to 95% of people with AIDS…”A total of 65 million people will have died of AIDS over 15 years. The Black Death happened 700 years ago when science was negligible. Yet despite our modern technology, today we have a disease that is killing a vast number of people. The diseases are similar because of the vast scope of death, the destruction of families, and the destruction of the economies of nations.”
What’s the worst form of terrorism on earth? About 3,000 people died in the Sept. 11 attacks. Every day, about 8,000 people die of AIDS.
Yes, it’s unfashionable now to disapprove of LGBTBQ. A blind assumption that socially aberrant behaviors are “choices” or rooted in “genetics” ignores the reality of experience molding patterns of sexual – exactly like other – behaviors.
What about pedophiles? Rape? John Wayne Gacy “One of the most infamous serial killers in American history…who would torture, bind, rape, and murder young men that he picked up in the area…According to [his sister] he was beaten by their father, who was an alcoholic, and sexually abused regularly by a contractor in the neighborhood.”
The cause – effect perpetuation of sexual abuse is well established. A society that protects its vulnerable members has to put restraints on aggressors and provide care for its victims.

Childhood sexual abuse is a subject that has received much attention in recent years. Twenty-eight to 33% of women and 12 to 18% of men were victims of childhood or adolescent sexual abuse (Roland, 2002, as cited in Long, Burnett, & Thomas, 2006). Sexual abuse that does not include touch and other types of sexual abuse are reported less often, which means this number of individuals who have been sexually abused in their childhood may actually be greater (Maltz, 2002)…
Childhood sexual abuse has been correlated with higher levels of depression, guilt, shame, self-blame, eating disorders, somatic concerns, anxiety, dissociative patterns, repression, denial, sexual problems, and relationship problems…
A study found that women survivors reported significantly more medical concerns than did people who have not experienced sexual abuse…often related to pelvic pain, gastrointestinal problems, headaches, and difficulty swallowing (Ratican, 1992).
Stress and anxiety are often long-term effects of childhood sexual abuse…A study compared the posttraumatic stress symptoms in Vietnam veterans and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The study revealed that childhood sexual abuse is traumatizing and can result in symptoms comparable to symptoms from war-related trauma (McNew & Abell, 1995).

Pictures of child sexual abuse have long been produced…But it has never been like this…
More than a decade ago [say 2005], when the reported number was less than a million, the proliferation of the explicit imagery had already reached a crisis point. Tech companies, law enforcement agencies and legislators in Washington responded, committing to new measures meant to rein in the scourge. Landmark legislation passed in 2008.
Yet the explosion in detected content kept growing — exponentially.
An investigation by The New York Times found an insatiable criminal underworld that had exploited the flawed and insufficient efforts to contain it…many tech companies failed to adequately police sexual abuse imagery on their platforms, or failed to cooperate sufficiently with the authorities when they found it.
Law enforcement agencies devoted to the problem were left understaffed and underfunded, even as they were asked to handle far larger caseloads.
The Justice Department, given a major role by Congress, neglected even to write mandatory monitoring reports, nor did it appoint a senior executive-level official to lead a crackdown…
A paper recently published [by] the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, described a system at “a breaking point,” with reports of abusive images “exceeding the capabilities of independent clearinghouses and law enforcement to take action.” It suggested that future advancements in machine learning might be the only way to catch up with the criminals.
In 1998, there were over 3,000 reports of child sexual abuse imagery.
Just over a decade later, yearly reports soared past 100,000.
In 2014, that number surpassed 1 million for the first time.
Last year [2020], there were 18.4 million, more than one-third of the total ever reported. Those reports included over 45 million images and videos flagged as child sexual abuse…
The surge in criminal activity on the dark web accounted for only a fraction of the 18.4 million reports of abuse last year. That number originates almost entirely with tech companies based in the United States. The companies have known for years that their platforms were being co-opted by predators, but many of them essentially looked the other way…it was clear more than two decades ago that new technologies had created the biggest boon for pedophiles since the Polaroid camera…
In interviews, victims across the United States described in heart-wrenching detail how their lives had been upended by the abuse. Children, raped by relatives and strangers alike, being told it was normal… Many of the survivors and their families said their view of humanity had been inextricably changed by the crimes…“I don’t really know how to deal with it,” said one woman who, at age 11, had been filmed being sexually assaulted by her father. “You’re just trying to feel O.K. and not let something like this define your whole life…
law enforcement agencies across the country said they were often besieged. Some have managed their online workload by focusing on imagery depicting the youngest victims.
“We go home and think, ‘Good grief, the fact that we have to prioritize by age is just really disturbing,’”
“the most gruesome and violent images of child pornography…”
“The predominant sound is the child screaming and crying,..”
images of very young children being sexually abused, and in increasingly extreme and violent forms.
“Historically, you would never have gone to a black market shop and asked, ‘I want real hard-core with 3-year-olds,”
In the course of diagnostic assessments, I routinely and casually ask about abuse. Almost invariably my patients just as casually relate their experiences. Unless one is aware of how prolific abuse is in our Christian country, one could assume all these patients are just attention seeking. No. Abuse really is pandemic.
