137) Beauty And The Beast Rev 17-18…

The original story of Beauty and the Beast was written by Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve. Originally published in La Jeune Américaine et Les Contes Marins [The Young American and Stories from the Sea] in 1740La Belle et La Bête…

The Beast was a young prince who lost his father, and whose mother had to wage war to defend his kingdom…

Belle…is not really a merchant’s daughter but the offspring of a king and a…fairy.

Do we get it? This story, written when France’s pagan Renaissance was embraced (that’s a pun) by American culture, is a remake of the oldest “love story”.

When we strip away the elegant French dressing and the pedophilic American Disney innocence down to the bare essentials we see that:

  • The Beast is a hybrid of a king / god
  • whose mother fought to defend / restore him
  • to his father’s hyper dimensional domain.
  • Belle is the alluring offspring of a king / god and a demi-goddess
  • with whom he has sexual relations
  • and achieves the restoration of his kingdom.

When we use hermeneutics to locate this person from a biblical perspective, he can be none other than the man called – famous for his attribute of – Nimrod / Rebel (Hebrew), who achieves the restoration of his hyper dimensional kingdom of evil which had been destroyed by the Flood. He is AKA Amraphel / Father of the hybrid Giant Nations.

This same named attribute of rebel / nimrod shows up when Jews rebel against the word of God and with forethought align themselves with his adversary.

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto [obey] theeBut we will certainly…burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her.” (Jeremiah 44:17)

When we translate the English into Hebrew we are able to link this goddess with the ancient designation typically treated as her personal name. In Hebrew (reading backwards and leaving off the preposition “to” attached in Jeremiah’s passage) it is מְלֶ֣כֶת  שָׁמַיִםה pronounced (reading forwarding in English) malkah ha-šā·ma·yim.

Of course, it’s her attribute of heaven / hyper dimensional / god. The queen of heaven.

Semiramis.

Many women have been named after her, as would be expected like the popularity of names like Mary and Elizabeth. But finding later historical records of this name, and even attributes which may well have given rise to assigning this name to a particular individual, doesn’t disprove the biblical account of the original holder of this title. We should expect humanists to discredit any biblical account or connection.

The name Semiramis is historical. The wife of the Assyrian king Šamši-Adad V (r.824-811 BCE) was called Šammuramat, which is correctly rendered in Greek as Semiramis. When Šammuramat’s husband died, she acted as regent for her underage son Adad-Nirari III for three (maybe five) years. During these years, the Assyrian armies waged war against the Medes in the east and the city of Arpad in the west. In Assyria, war was normal business, be it that the commander was a woman or a general designated by this woman…This is about all we know about Šammuramat, except that in 787 BCE, she was still alive.

The Queen of Heaven is always recognizable by her attribute of giving life. In a twisted version of the originally immortal Woman Eve being the mother of all living with her husband Adam, Semiramis is worshipped as the Mother of Immortals with her son.

And that, too, may be literal if Semiramis II was responsible for the formation of one of the most famous military units.

Immortals (Ancient Greek: Ἀθάνατοι, romanizedAthánatoi) was the name given by Herodotus to an elite heavy infantry unit of 10,000 soldiers in the army of the Achaemenid Empire. The unit served in a dual capacity through its role as imperial guard alongside its contribution to the ranks of the Persian Empire’s standing army. While it primarily consisted of Persians, the Immortals force also included Medes and Elamites.

Such an old lady has had many names.

The name Inanna is girl’s name meaning “lady of heaven”.

An ancient Mesopotamian goddess of love, war and justice, with a name that fits modern tastes. In recent years it has become a rare but steady fixture…full of potential for parents looking for an offbeat name from mythology.

Inanna is an independent woman who does as she pleases, quite often without regard for consequences  and either manipulates, threatens, or tries to seduce others to fix the difficulties her behaviour creates…

Her husband / son Dumuzis…suffers for her rash choices in the poem The Descent of Inanna

.He is called the Son Of Life, from the Akkadian term du-u-zu, meaning just thatIn Hebrew and English this is Dumuzi / Tammuz.

“the spirit lifted me up…and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem,

  • to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy…turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations / corrupted life forms, hybrids with evil rather than God’s spirit of life.
  • And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a [secret entrance] hole in the wall…I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about…what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark [secret societies]? thou shalt see greater abominations
  • Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD‘s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz….thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
  • And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD‘s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar …they worshipped the sun toward the east.” (Ezekiel 8)

When we strip away our later day veil of ignorant materialism to see the hyper dimensional aspects of the ancient world, we recognize the continuous theme throughout time of the fallen angels’ drive to procreate hybrid offspring.

  1. What began in the pre-flood days of Noah (Genesis 6),
  2. was recreated for a time in the immediate post-flood days (Genesis 11),
  3. will happen again in the last days causing the second occasion for God (Revelation 16)” to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.”

These flesh – not spirit – beings’ breath / spirit did not derive from God, but from evil spirits who steal it from God-given sources. This never-ending demand for transfer of energy fills the earth with violence by the walking dead, the zombies whose appearance in apocalyptic movies has become ubiquitous.

Nimrod lives long and prospers for quite some time, but eventually goes the way of all mortal men. So he is transformed into the dying-and-reviving god Tammuz.  At the autumn equinox the people would ensure his resurrection by enacting the sacred marriage rites of Inanna and Dumuzi (Ishtar and Tammuz).

Don’t misinterpret “sacred” as “holy” as in the Bible. Sacr-ed simply means something sacr-ificed, totally given, to God or the gods. The pornographically arousing public display of sexual intercourse between the most seductive members of society – oh, yeah, exactly like the movie stars of our time – certainly triggered an outpouring of energy resources sucked up by the gods exactly like profits by the entertainment industry.

This hollow caricature dies and resurrects, yes, like the first Adam and last Adam, Son of God, Seed of the Woman, but not once and for all. He runs out of energy, dies, has to be resurrected by devoted followers through the transfer of massive amounts of energy achievable only through directed warfare, only to die again and await resurrection in God’s time.

“And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.”

“The beast [mixed species that can’t be identified with one of God’s creations] that thou sawest… there are seven kings:

  • 1-5 = each of five fallen kings who “was, and is not”, in the time preceding this Revelation, certainly counting 1) the original Nimrod and his incarnations based on Daniel’s view of history as 2)  Nabopollasar the Babylonian (surprise, not Nebuchadnezzar who inherited the kingdom and honored and served the true God more than once, so no, not Nimrod) 3) Darius the Persian conqueror of the Babylonian empire who then turned it over to Cyrus God’s Messiah 4) Alexander the Greek conqueror of the Persian empire, 5) Augustus Caesar the Roman conqueror of the Greek empire.
  • 6 = and one [of the incarnations] is – present tense – Nero at the time this was given to John. 7 = and yet is
  • 7= and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space: “a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads [neurologically souls of all seven incarnations of Nimrod?] And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast…and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
  • 8 = And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

He goeth into perdition. Utter destruction, annihilation, finality. Finally.

“And the ten horns / powers which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Revelation 17)

This son of perdition leads rape, pillage and slaughter of the life energy of pure humans whose breath of life was passed from YHVH through Eve to all her offspring. The temporary nature of this mortal life requires interminable warfare to support the energy needs of the Adversary and his followers, blazing every hotter as the battle intensifies.

“And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And Almighty God taunts him. “Here, I’ll tie one hand behind myself, give you an advantage you measly worm of a creature.” Not to mention the saints need to be whipped into action – “show your faith, you laggards!”

  • And it was given unto him –  by God, exactly as happened with the rise of the NeoBabylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman Empires – to make war with the saints, and to overcome them – cause them to die – in the vain hope of transferring their life power to him. BUT! A saint’s spirit of life is snatched by YHVH who gave it. So…
  • power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him – give all their resources to him on demand – whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

This Semiramis / Heavenly One reported in the Bible is such an ancient deity that we find her title, ergo name, translated into many different languages.

Her husband / son Dumuzi – who suffers for her rash choices in the poem The Descent of Inanna – transforms in time into the Inanna is among the most important deities and the most important goddess in the Mesopotamian pantheon. She is primarily known as the goddess of sexual love but is equally prominent as the goddess of warfare. In her astral aspect, Inana/Ištar is the planet Venus, the morning and the evening star.

3d-inanna-ishtar-upon-lion1-1She is often shown in the company of a lion, denoting courage, and sometimes even riding the lion as a sign of her supremacy over the ‘king of beasts’.

There are multiple layers of meaning in “riding a beast.”

The Last Ride Togetheris a love lyric and told from the perspective of the lover...

The poet makes use of themes such as love, eternity, time, physicality, spirituality, and life…Firstly, it’s about physical love that makes the speaker rejuvenated. Thereafter, the speaker talks about a…kind of love / uniting that doesn’t lie in the past or future. It lies in the present moment…In the end, the speaker wishes for riding eternally with his beloved by crossing the limitations of time and death

The warlike aspect of the goddess tends to be expressed in politically charged contexts in which the goddess is praised in connection with royal power and military might. This is already visible in the Old Akkadian period, when Naram-Sin [first post-flood king who claimed to be a god] frequently invokes the “warlike Ištar” (aštar annunītum) in his inscriptions and becomes more prominent in the Neo-Assyrian veneration of Inana/Ištar…

The role of the goddess in legitimizing political power…the so-called “sacred marriage” ceremony celebrated the marriage of Inana (represented by her high priestess) and Dumuzi (represented by the ruler)…Practiced in the late third and early second millennium BCE, the sacred marriage rite…served to express the relationship between the king and the divine world.

Both the Sumerian aggressive pagan representation of a woman riding a beast and Robert Browning’s more tender humanistic representation match the biblical account of this woman overpowering men both sexually and politically.

Her fate was prophesied by John in Revelation.

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials,

This defines the timing. It is after the earth has been devastated by God’s wrath. Unlike Revelation 12 reporting the woman clothed with the sun, this is not a recap of events prior to the immediately preceding events.

641fa4c7cf66ab780295cb34b5585f55and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

And I saw the woman drunken with

  1. the blood of the saints [who are united in righteousness with YHVH]
  2. and with the blood of the martyrs of YHVH’s Savior [who know him specifically]

and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

How does she do it?!

Inana/Ištar is by far the most complex of all Mesopotamian deities, displaying contradictory, even paradoxical traits…In Sumerian poetry, she is sometimes portrayed as a coy young girl under patriarchal authority (though at other times as an ambitious goddess seeking to expand her influence…a persistent commonality between these two natures of Inana/Ištar: her sexuality. The young Inana of Sumerian poetry, who says “Plough my vulva, man of my heart” is no less desirous than the Inana/Ištar portrayed in Gilgameš: “Let us enjoy your strength, so put your hand and touch our vulva!” ...Inana/Ištar was also the patron goddess of prostitutes.

“And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.”

She is not a new thing. She is as old as the hills.

As humanism has gained the high ground in academia and the the sciences we see the obsession with resurrecting the past unfolding before our eyes. On the bright side, anyone can now access the mystery of the woman and the beast.

1268ec75803a9aea85f59fc51157e764The Cult of Mother Goddess does exist worldwide since Neolithic times…Anatolia’s Earth Mother shows an exceptional lastingness… progressing to Hattia, Hittite Kubaba, Phyrg Cybele, turning to Carians Hekate, than Aphrodite and raised to Artemia, finally to Virgin Mary…her basic persona, as the protector of all the life and fertility, usually as a virgin, had remained.

Archeologists of Turkey, have recently unearthed an 16,000 year-old mother goddess figurinethe eldest in Mesopotamia, Anatolia and Near East…

Bear in mind that all dates prior to 5,000 are unprovable and based on scientific bias (details in the post The Stones Cry Out) but we can all agree this  figurine dates to the beginning of human social structures.

Note how the artist has expressed her attributes / name in the life-giving aspects figured in her eye-catching breasts, pregnant belly, and birthing infant; her sexuality is literally brought to the fore by the depiction, however anatomically incorrect, of her vulva; and her power is expressed by her seat on the lions. You don’t have to be literate to know who this is and what she represents.

defaultIn the royal archives of the Hittite Capital at ancient Hattusha, texts dating from 1500-1190 BCE listing the gods and goddess include Kubaba. She had a cult of her her own in the ancient fortress Carchemish and its dependent cities from ca.1050 BCE to ca. 850 BCE. She is depicted on a throne under which reclines a lion. The engraving shown here depicts her attributes as king-maker with the warrior standing on her lion while she is astride the horned bull which symbolizes power, still understood by Spanish bullfighting. She is crowned with a strong walled city for defense and holds a mirror and pomegranate, symbols of magic and fertility

The winged sun disk is one of the oldest religious symbols, found among the Sumerians, the Assyrians, and the Hittites, just to name a few. The winged disk represents a singular symbol of the Savior, a winged sun, the Sun of Righteousness, arising with healing on his wings.

The Sun signifies omnipresence, divinity, royalty, and supreme power in Egypt, Mesopotamia, Anatolia, and Persia carried on the wings of the Son of the Most High God. Plagiarism, clearly, of Eve and her Seed.

When the Assyrian capital Nineveh was overrun by the Babylonians in 612 BC, the Assyrians moved their capital to [an outpost] Harran. When Harran was captured by the Babylonians in 610 BC, the capital was once again moved, this time to Carchemish, on the Euphrates river. Egypt was allied with the Assyrian king Ashur-uballit II, and marched in 609 BCto his aid against the Babylonians. The Egyptian army of Pharaoh Necho II was delayed at Megiddo by the forces of King Josiah of Judah. [who was obligated to an alliance with with Babylon made by his grandfather King Hezekiah] Josiah was killed and his army was defeated. The dead body of Josiah was delivered to Jerusalem immediately and buried according to the customs of Judah’s kings, near the grave of King David.

The Bible describes the battle in Jeremiah 46:1-12.

be4d68d603233ec6af422ce2ceed8183After the fall of Carchemish, Kubaba was transformed into the mother goddess of the Cybileian (pronounce with a hard C like K)mountains in Phrygia.

Her characteristic elements of fertility and power are recognized in the details of walled city crown, breasts made prominent despite limited area on the small statue, interior view of pregnancy, drapery suggestive of widespread inviting legs, and royal lions.

As with Greek Gaia (the “Earth”), or her Minoan equivalent Rhea, Cybele embodies the fertile Earth.

Followers of Cybele expressed her ecstatic and orgiastic cult in music, especially drumming, clashing of shields and spears, dancing, singing, and shouting—all at night.

The worship of Cybele spread to the Aegean coast, to Crete and other Aegean islands, and to mainland Greece.

By the 6th century AD the mother goddess was dominating religious life in Greek settlements. Archeological digs show that the site of the temple of Artemis in Ephesus was occupied since the Bronze Age two thousand years earlier.

At Ephesus Artemis was passionately venerated in an archaic, certainly pre-Hellenic cult image most similar to Near-Eastern and Egyptian deities, and least like Greek ones.

By now we should recognize the iconography. She wears the mural / wall crown of a strong city and is flanked by the remnants of her lions. Shrines, bulls’ horns, and goddess images found in her temple also indicate the continuity with older mother goddesses of ancient times.

Still, many aspects cannot be dated in the archaic age, and the statue from Lepcis [shown here] illustrates this very well: on the upper part of her chest, she wears a zodiac, a symbol invented in fourth-century Babylonia

the spherical objects that cover the lower part of her chest…probably represent the testicles of a bull, although they may also be gourds, which were known in Asia as fertility symbols for centuries. Artemis’ robe is always decorated with…leopards, goats, griffins…[in addition to the usual iconography of] lions, and bulls.

The Temple of Artemis was located in an economically robust region, visited by merchants and travelers from all over Asia Minor. Influenced by many beliefs, the temple was as a symbol for peoples of all faiths from many lands. It was also known as the Temple of Diana, the equivalent Roman goddess to Artemis.

This review of the historical woman from Babylon should open our eyes to

“a woman…upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

Please note that I am not blaspheming the Jewish mother of YHVH’s savior. Neither am I insulting or judging the billions of innocents who honored her in the manner in which they were told by their leaders. For that matter I am not condemning all the priests, monks, nun, and other church leaders who only knew what they were taught about the Bible. I am opposed to the top rank of leadership, the wolves in sheep clothing who see religion as a get rich quick scheme who are more evil than the Luciferian devotees.

So with that caveat:

The Rise and Rise of the Queen of Heaven

“there is a direct line, unbroken and clearly discernible, from the goddess-cults of the ancients to the reverence paid and eventually the cult accorded to the Virgin Mary.”

Stephen Benko specializes in early Christianity in its pagan environment…Benko avoids anti-Catholic polemics and is sympathetic to the place of the “queen of heaven” in Christianity. That said, he unerringly traces Mary’s roots to the pagan, pre-Christian heavenly queens of Greece, Rome and the wider Mediterranean—those mutable goddesses whose ranks include Artemis, Astarte, Celeste, Ceres, Cybele, Demeter, Diana, Ishtar, Isis and Selene.

Christianity,” he notes, “did not add a new element to religion when it introduced into its theology such concepts as ‘virgin’ and ‘mother’; rather, it sharpened and refined images that already existed in numerous forms in pagan mythology.”

The combining of beliefs from different traditions, called syncretism [and abomination in the Bible] was not new but a recurring theme in religions of the Mediterranean area. As with the transmission of pagan-to-pagan images and ideas, so pagan-to-Christian shifts began to occur in what Benko calls “functional equivalency.” The first centuries of the current era, during which the early Christian religion was embraced and modified by the cultures of the Hellenistic world, constituted a period of particularly rapid syncretism…

But the cult with the greatest influence on early Christianity, according to Benko, was that of the Great Mother (Magna Mater). Known in western Asia Minor as Cybele, she was to become the model for Mariology…Stoic and neo-Platonic concepts of mythological earth-mother goddesses were projected onto Mary with little adaptation: Cybele’s devotees saw her primarily as a chaste, beautiful and kind goddess; her worship centered on salvation, and her cult advocated baptism, not in water but in the blood of a freshly sacrificed bull. The cult also enlisted celibate (sometimes self-castrated) priests, as well as virgin priestesses. Similar views relating to celibacy and the evils of sex soon entered the orthodox church and subsequently congealed as official teaching.

Physical ‘purity’ was not required of any priest before 1139 and marriage was then the norm. Once celibacy became a requirement it was frequently and openly argued.

Benko describes the process whereby Mary became “the female face of God,” or the spiritualized image of the church. He writes: “Mary was eventually declared to be ‘Mother of God,’ which is a wholly pagan term filled with new Christian meaning. Did Mary become a goddess when this declaration was made? The answer of Christians was, and still is, an indignant No!—but in fact Mary assumed the functions of pagan female divinities and for many pious Christian folk she did, and does, everything the ancient goddesses used to do.

By the mid-third century, Hellenized forms of Christianity had been granted a level of recognition in the Roman Empire. Sixty years later the emperor Constantine reaffirmed that freedom, and soon the forced conversion of pagans began. Their temples were demolished or “Christianized,” along with the congregations. By the end of the fourth century, pagan cults seemed to have been all but eradicated. But this should not be confused with the end of their influence…

the Christian apologists had to differentiate their belief in the virgin birth from similar ideas found in Hellenistic mythology. Justin Martyr argued correctly that Mary’s conception of Jesus was different, in that God did not woo nor overcome her…the idea that Mary remained a virgin throughout life gained momentum…Having used philosophical and metaphysical ideas to define the nature of God at the fourth-century councils of Nicea and Laodicea, the church fathers used the same methods to define the nature of Christ at the councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon in the fifth century. They concluded that the Son of God could not have been carried by a woman stained with original sin…which is why Mary had to be elevated to the role of Theotokos, the Mother of God…“the one who gave birth to the one who is God.”

From the perspective of pagans, this makes Mary equivalent to Gaia, in existence before Cronus, Father of the Gods.

In the early fourth century, Augustine introduced his theology of Original Sin, wherein he deemed sex to be integral to the fall of Adam and Eve. Like the other early church fathers, Augustine’s background was in Greek philosophy…Sex was tainted and best avoided, he said…

rather than accept a simple reading of the New Testament in its context, the early fathers preferred to believe the notion that Mary was a virgin not only prior to Christ’s birth but remained virgo intacta post partum; i.e., a perpetual virgin after childbirth. This was one of the earliest Marian beliefs to become official Catholic teaching (451); Pope Martin I went on to declare it dogma in 649.

Warner notes that…“It is almost impossible to overestimate the effect that the characteristic Christian association of sex and sin and death has had on the attitudes of our civilization.”

In turning our civilization against the Bible’s much more realistic presentation of sin, salvation from eternal death, and engaging in fulfilling sexual relations.

But Mary’s virginity was not the only issue that the church fathers raised. If Mary was without sin, then she should not have seen death (death being the penalty for sin according to the Scriptures). As the sixth century drew to a close, Emperor Maurice proclaimed August 15 as the Feast…to commemorate the day on which Mary, rather than dying, simply went into an eternal sleep…

Long venerated…culminating in 1854 when Pope Pius IX declared the mother of Christ to have been “immaculately conceived…”The Catholic Encyclopedia…explains that “sanctifying grace was given to her before sin could have taken effect in her soul.” Many people, even some practicing Catholics, do not realize that the Immaculate Conception refers to Mary’s conception, not to Christ’s (which is known simply as the Virgin Birth)…

Effectively making her immortal, i.e. a goddess.

an example of the questions that must follow from this teaching: If Mary avoided the consequences [of mortality], doesn’t this mean that the full humanity of Christ can be called into question?..

on what basis could the church establish a teaching as official and true? The answer came in the form of another edict from Pius IX, this one in 1870. With important implications for the acceptance of…all…teachings based more on philosophy and tradition than on Scripture, this edict declared the infallibility of the pope when speaking ex cathedra (from his chair) on such matters as faith and morals. The notion that Mary had miraculously escaped human nature and the temptation even to think wrong thoughts, much less to do wrong, had like other dogmas stretched the credulity of many across the centuries, especially as the Enlightenment dawned and the Age of Reason set in. Now the pope, in a single act, removed any possibility of further debate within the church by declaring it a matter of faith instead of reason—faith, that is, in the church’s infallibility.

In 1950 Pope Pius XII proclaimed Mary’s “assumption”—her reception, body and soul, into heaven.

Four years later, in 1954, the same pope officially confirmed the title Mary had been accorded over many centuries: “Queen of Heaven.”

And now there is a strong movement toward a fifth Marian dogma…seeking the papal definition of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Coredemptrix…“such a definition will bring to light the whole truth about Mary, Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son, Spouse of the Spirit and Mother of the Church.”

The preamble to the petition seeks to qualify “coredemptrix” as meaning a redeemer “with” rather than “equal to” Christ. But based on history, many would likely overlook such a fine distinction once the title is given.

Mary’s other titles should not go unnoticed. With respect to her presumed role as “Spouse of the Spirit,” Catholic scholar Leonardo Boff, whose theology would make Mary a part of the Trinity, is quite forthright…”she is to be regarded as hypostatically [absolutely and really] united to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity…” By this argument, because Mary is said to be united with and identical to the Holy Spirit, Boff avoids the theological minefield of a Trinity of four persons…

“And I saw the woman...sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns….

If we accept the historical precedents that

  • the woman is the latest iteration of Semiramis, not Mary the mother of YHVH’s Savior,
  • sitting indicates ruling from the throne,
  • in this religious context the throne is cathedra. According to Roman Catholic doctrine, a Pope speaking ex cathedra “from the chair” on issues of faith or morals is infallible,
  • a beast is a hybrid being not authorized by YHVH, i.e. Christianity syncretized with paganism,

then the woman is the latest iteration of Semiramis, a human woman who controls the power of the Roman Catholic pope.

Like Semiramis, she has been around.

Women of the Vatican: Female Power in a Male World looks at a variety of female personalities who exerted influence over the centuries…Telford’s account has enough history and sleaze in it to make for a gripping Netflix series…digging controversially into the lives of several women…

The life and times of Marozia, believed to be the mistress of Pope Sergius III in the early 900s, highlights the warring aristocratic factions within central Italy — known as the Papal States at the time — that sought to use the military resources of the papacy. It details a very violent path to power that highlights the tensions that governed the church at the time…

Similarly, Vannozza dei Catanei, a mistress of Cardinal Rodrigo de Borgia, was a key figure in helping him became Pope Alexander VI starting in 1492 just as Christopher Columbus was about to embark on his voyages to the Americas and the church able to extend its power. They ultimately had four children together, although Alexander VI publicly pretended they were his nieces and nephews…he eventually took on another mistress named Giulia Farnese

Farnese used her influence behind the scenes to promote her brother Alessandro Farnese, who would eventually become…Pope Paul III…the powerful Catherine de Medici, a ruthless 16th century noblewoman and the niece of Pope Clement VII…would go on to be queen of France. In those years, the papacy was largely an extension of European royalty…

turning Florence into the cradle of the Renaissance…The Medici dynasty would go on to produce four popes — Leo X, Clement VII, Pius IV and Leo XI — forever cementing their legacy as one of the most powerful families in history…

a 19th century nun named Mother Pascalina who served as a close confidant Pope Pius XII…until his death as pope in 1958…Telford could have dedicated a whole book to Pascalina as the papacy fell under siege during World War II. The chapter on her is one of the most-fascinating reads in all the book.

Where do we currently stand on popes speaking ex-cathedra on matters of faith and morals?

Pope St. John Paul II was a towering figure in Christian-Muslim relations. He is known in the Muslim world as somebody who was unprecedented in his outreach to the Muslim world. He visited many Muslim countries; said very positive things about the Muslim tradition; famously kissed the Quran. It was an important moment, and he attracted a huge amount of criticism from the Catholic world for having done this. But he was a real pioneer of interreligious relations and especially in the worlds of Islam and Judaism…

Francis has right from the beginning struck a very different tone. The agenda before Pope Francis was above all focused on religious freedom; what the Vatican calls reciprocity. In other words, “We Christians allow you Muslims to come to our countries and worship freely. Why don’t you do the same for us?”

With Francis, there is a desire to understand religious extremism in all its forms…he refers not just to religious fundamentalism as a phenomenon you find in other religions but also in Christianity. And I think that’s been quite a helpful thing to have pointed out because it means that the enemy, if you like, is…a certain kind of extreme…you don’t find that Christianity is free of extremism either.

Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno, head of the Vatican Observatory and sometimes called “the pope’s astronomer,”… agreed with me that the Catholic intellectual tradition would have absolutely zero problem with the idea of intelligent life — that is, substances of a rational nature (the classic definition of a “person” in my field) — on other planets…

when asked in a later, more in-depth interview on these topics if he would be willing to baptize an alien, he said, “Only if she asked…

From Origen in the third century to Thomas Aquinas in the 13th to the Renaissance thinkers of the 15th and 16th centuries, there is already a robust set of theological reflections on a host of questions that nonhuman persons on other planets produce.

Did Jesus die for them too?…Or maybe they didn’t have a primeval original sin that disordered their nature and environment…? Are they governed by our sense of right and wrong or would it be quite different? Or would they be capable of sinning at all?…

the church’s intellectual tradition on these questions would be brought to bear in exciting and important ways.

Note, that is “intellectual” as in Greek philosophy and Platonic thought leading to an ex-cathedra pronouncement on faith and morals, not hermeneutical review of scripture in order to apply YHVH’s validated scriptures to current events.

So bring it on, director of national intelligence and Pentagon. Let’s see what you got. The Catholic intellectual tradition stands ready to help humanity interpret and process the fact that we are not alone in the universe.

Then there is the fact that money not only talks, it convinces.

Wealth of Roman Catholic Church impossible to calculate

There is no doubt, however, that between the church’s priceless art, land, gold and investments across the globe, it is one of the wealthiest institutions on Earth…

the buildings in Vatican City….are priceless and could never be sold. They include: the Apostolic Palace, the pope’s official residence; the Sistine Chapel, best known for murals by Botticelli and Michelangelo…and St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world…

716,290 square kilometres [of properties] across the globe…

10 billions of dollars [invested] in foreign companies by the Institute of Religious Works (the Vatican bank) in the 1990s. It has holdings in such industries as banking, insurance, chemicals, steel, construction and real estate. It only invests in companies that operate according to Catholic morals [read under Catholic control].

86 millions of dollars in 2011…made up of donations from parishes across the globe. The money is spent on humanitarian projects, including disaster relief.

I’m convinced.

The Beast is the Pope.

The pope is an utterly unique actor in international relations (IR)Pope Francis currently enjoys formal diplomatic relations with over 180 individual countries across the globe, from Albania to Zimbabwe. At the same time, the pope is the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church, a religious community numbering more than a billion souls. As a result of that institutional status, the pope is also…the “first citizen of global civil society,”…

Braaake!

Do you understand what this Professor of Political Science at Colgate University just said?

Princeps civitatis (“First Citizen”) was an official title of a Roman Emperor

This usage of “princeps” derived from the position of Princeps senatus, the “first among equals” of the Senate…the first member by precedence of the Roman Senate, and his opinion would usually be asked first in senatorial debates.

It was first given as a special title to Caesar Augustus in 27 BC, who saw that use of the titles rex (king) or dictator would create resentment amongst senators and other influential men, who had earlier demonstrated their disapproval by supporting the assassination of Julius Caesar. While Augustus had political and military supremacy, he needed the assistance of his fellow Romans to manage the Empire.

And the Pontifex Maximus, another title of the Pope, was taken to himself by Augustus as an imperial title.

[Initially] The pontifex maximus was elected by the comitia tributa, an assembly of the people that was divided into voting districts…

Julius Caesar was elected pontifex maximus in 63 BCE and kept the office until his death. The house where he spent the night before he was killed, was the domus publica. After his death, Marcus Aemilius Lepidus became pontifex maximus (44-12 BCE); when he died, the emperor Augustus became responsible for the state cult. He also put an end to the election of the pontifices…

The word pontifex is sometimes explained as ‘bridge builder’, but…means something like ‘preparer of the road’.

In 381, the Roman emperor Gratian was the first to decline to use the title of pontifex maximus. It was accepted by the pope.

“With the consent of the Senate, Augustus slowly assumed the sole leadership of the Empire.”

And the pope has sole leadership of the Roman Catholic Empire.

In terms of his formal role, the pope engages in international diplomacy as the embodiment of a “juridical actor” known as the Holy See. An inaccurate shorthand often refers to “Vatican embassies,” or to “the Vatican” engaging in diplomatic relations with one country or another. In fact, however, it is the Holy See and not the Vatican City State that is recognized under international law. And it is the pope who in his person embodies the Holy See as a legal actor…And the current pope has played that role actively. Among other instances, he has sought to deepen and reorient the Holy See’s relationship with China; he has tried to dampen inter-ethnic and inter-confessional conflicts in Ukraine; and he has leveraged his formal diplomatic relations with both the United States and Cuba…

No other religious leader has anything approaching this level of formal access to the diplomatic realm…

Francis has clearly devoted his considerable energies to fortify the definition of his religious community as a “Church for the poor,”…and to orient the energies and resources of his Church to address those needs.

With the resources, worldwide manpower, moral authority and heritage of placing one’s faith in the Pope’s infallibility, the Holy See is the only organization poised to be the First Responder on the scene in the next world war. As a religious organization, the Holy See is the only world-wide institution that can instantly accredit a hyper dimensional being as The Return of the King of the world, syncretize the world religions especially Christianity, Islam and Judaism, demand submission to his law, and cause the death of the heretics to this faith by withholding financial aid in refugee camps.

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which…receive power as kings one hour with the beast.”

These are not kings, they are granted temporary power to function as kings, which is, to make laws under these drastically changed circumstances. In legalese, this is a a legislative commission

decemviri, (Latin: “ten men”), in ancient Rome, any official commission of 10…most often used in reference to decemviri legibus scribundis, a temporary legislative commission that supplanted the regular magistracy from 451 to 449 BC [i.e. 2 years, a short time.] It was directed to construct a code of laws that would resolve the power struggle between the patricians and the plebeians. The first board of decemvirs ruled with moderation and prepared 10 tables of law in 451 BC…In 449 BC… they became tyrannical, the decemvirs were forced to abdicate.

Since a biblical day is an era, an hour can be considered a significantly smaller unit of time, but still running into months or years.

Every detail matches. What was shall be again. And what else could we expect? In our humanistic society any renaissance of culture will be based on Rome’s, and the old gods easily reframed as aliens from our “scientific” worldview.

And…these shall hate the whore”

Of course an exclusive men’s club will hate the woman who single-handedly manipulates their boss, the pope, who they are not so fond of either since they’ve come to realize they are just the fall guys to take the heat when objections arise from the constituents of the representatives of all the major world religions that joined up including Evangelicals, Protestants, Moslems, Jews, etc.

Game of Thrones did a fabulous job of depicting the religious downfall of Cerce Lannister who was made desolate, stripped of all her dignity forced to walk naked through the city in a gantlet of stones and excrement, curses and mocking.

“and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”

They also did a fabulous job of depicting the cold-as-ice indifference to suffering while burning people, even children, alive in the name of religion.

But what is that bit about “eat her flesh”?

This must be alerting us to the fact that these men have become hybrid creatures of the beast from the sea. Zombies. They must re-energize themselves with fresh blood carrying the red blood cells and other essential blood products they can no longer produce in their dead bodies.

And that also explains why they burn the woman with fire. She too was, or became, a zombie with the coming of the beast from the sea. Burning is the only way to deactivate her. Portent of the lake of fire.

“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”  (Revelation 17)

Just as the Pope is the embodiment of a “juridical actor”, i.e. “one who acts for another in legal matters; one who represents a party and manages his cause,” known as the Holy See, so the woman who rides him (snicker) is the embodiment of an “actor” who represents a party, in this case, “the great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”

At that time in history.

“And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. [In a UFO? I’m being serious.)

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

  • For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication – literally forbidden sex,
  • and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her – scrambling to be part of the new regime,
  • and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies – sold to the warmongers while the masses starve.
  1. And the great city (Rome) was divided into three parts,
  2. and the cities of the nations fell:
  3. and great Babylon came in remembrance before God” (Revelation 16:19)

Rome has the popular vote as the Babylon of the last times, but I can’t help but believe that all the birds go home to roost.

Without a doubt, if the Pope is going to cajole the Sultan into joining forces, he is going to have to make concessions. And what better than to locate the capitol of the New World Religion at its historical birthplace?

And without a doubt that will kindle a fire in the bellies of the Catholic old guard with their school ties and club memberships.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

This can absolutely include Catholics who revolt against the desecration of Christian morals by pagans who have taken over Church leadership. The photo below shows 150 pro-life organizations participating in a pro-life protest in Argentina, including Catholic and evangelical Christian leaders.

  • [You] Reward her even as she rewarded you,
  • and [you] double unto her double according to her works:
  • in the cup which she hath filled [you] fill to her double.
  • How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow [you] give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow [sidelined at the death of the king], and shall see no sorrow.

It sure sounds like a conspiracy of Christians against Pagans, and this time the Christians win.

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her...For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived [into accepting the beast as their savior from the apocalypse.]

Hasn’t the Lord God always used human agents after all!

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18)

Satan’s kingdom does not stand, because Satan is his own worst enemy. He is a terrible father. In mythology, as in scripture, the father voluntarily hands the throne and full power over to the son, who is called the Word. In reality, Marduk’s elevation to power over his power-hungry and attention-seeking father Lucifer would have been resented.

I expect it was driven by the same caution used by drug czars, mafia dons and corrupt politicians. Plausible deniability. Never do the dirty work yourself, surround yourself with loyal underlings who will go to prison rather than reveal who called the shots.

But sooner or later they bring their own empire down.
