Gods and other spirit beings have been evoked throughout all of humanity’s lengthy history.

Even in our current extremely recent and short technological age, scientists continue to hope that hyperdimensional beings from outer space will come to earth to rescue us from our self-destructive ways.

I first met Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno, head of the Vatican Observatory and sometimes called “the pope’s astronomer,” after an event on science fiction and theology we did…

with the stunning “60 Minutes” segment on UFOs this week [May 2021], it is now fair to say not only that we have something close to strong evidence that we are not alone in the universe but that the idea has gone mainstream…

our becoming aware of the existence of other rational creatures in the cosmos would likely reinvigorate theological inquiry quite dramatically, and the church’s intellectual tradition on these questions would be brought to bear in exciting and important ways.

So bring it on, director of national intelligence and Pentagon. Let’s see what you got. The Catholic intellectual tradition stands ready to help humanity interpret and process the fact that we are not alone in the universe.

What does science have to say?

According to superstring theory, there are at least 10 dimensions in the universe (M-theory actually suggests that there are 11 dimensions to spacetime; bosonic string theories suggest 26 dimensions).

That’s a bit of a mind-boggler: Most people understand the basic three dimensions, and many know that the fourth dimension is time…

For the purposes of this study, I’ll just limit the number of dimensions to body, soul and spirit, with the fourth dimension of time as one of the 10 dimensions that expands to eternity in the hyper dimensions.

I will also primarily use biblical references regarding contacts with hyper dimensional beings as a resource since this is what is best known in our culture.

Ancient depictions of gods / aliens fit a model of an individual with three dimensions of body, soul and spirit.

1. God’s body is what enables him to interact with others as one of multiple discreet entities.
2. God’s soul is his unique personhood / personality, “a characteristic way of thinking, feeling, and behaving… attitudes, and opinions and is most clearly expressed in interactions with other people.” This is a form of energy, recognized in humans from the electrical activity of the sodium-potassium pump. In the nervous system the brain and peripheral nerves send sensations and instructions back and forth controlling behaviors. The stored memories in the brain comprise the unique personhood.
3. The Singularity’s Spirit is the infinite source of energy which, like electricity or the wind, is not confined to any single time and space like a material body is, but can split off and converge, and can only be perceived by humans in its actions through physical substance.

“And the LORD [YHVH] appeared unto him [Abraham] in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day… and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My Lord…And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat…And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham…” (Genesis 18)

“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him…And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” (Genesis 32:24-30)

A hyper dimensional being can control m=E/c2 to appear to be four dimensional instead of pure energy..

According to the Book of Enoch, celestial beings are indeed shape-shifters who can appear as humans as well as other forms.

Before all these things Enoch was concealed…He was wholly engaged with the holy ones, and with the Watchers in his days…and when they pleased they assumed the likeness of men.(Enoch 12)

This revelation is confirmed in other scriptures.

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” (Hebrews 13:2)

“There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.” (I Corinthians 15:40)

“And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend [i.e. a peer, an equal, in a form compatible with human senses, which we often find in the Old Testament accounts of interactions between God and humans]…And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory [major upgrade in the software from human-like to truly hyper-dimensional God]…And he said, Thou canst not see my face / unique expression of myself: for there shall no man see me, and live. [Think of it like encountering any huge force-field. Humans are overloaded by high electrical voltage, radioactive nuclear energy, etc.] And the  LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts [think of a tail of a comet, less intense]: but my face shall not be seen….And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there…

And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped…And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water [obviously his life was maintained by another transfer of energy]…And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai…that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him…And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. [like any sun worshipper absorbing all the rays they can.]” (Exodus 33:11-23, 34:5-8, 28-34)

Soul: will, desire, emotions, intent behind behavior, personality.

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And…it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will… (Genesis 6:5-7)

“And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD…and his anger was kindled.” (Numbers 11:1)

“Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God.” (II Chronicles 9:8)

The development of a unique person, occurs through social interaction and is permanently stored in the brain’s neuronal electrical activity. This includes hyper dimensional beings, whose personalities and desires change as a result of social interaction with humans.

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” (Isaiah 14)

This leads to a fascinating theological question – Did God’s personality develop as a result of his interaction with humans? Take love, for example. If there is no-one to love, can a person ever be loving? Can one loving without interacting with another individual in being forgiving, merciful?

“And the LORD / Singularity descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD / Singularity…The LORD / Singularity, The LORD God / Singularity Power, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty.” (Exodus 33:5-6)

^“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

Certainly humans change as a result of social interaction with other humans as well as spirit beings.

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us…Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God…Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it…So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:” (Ephesians 5)

“there are certain men crept in [to assemblies of believers]…these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities…These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage….mockers…who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” (Jude)

Spirit: energy, empowerment

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel…And the LORD came down in a cloud…and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease…And Moses said…would God that ALL the LORD’S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!” (Numbers 11:16-29)

“Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning…for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil…And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon ALL flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel 2:12-32)

“And when the day of Pentecost [Jewish feast] was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak….Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them…this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel…ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:1-33)

Each unique individual is, by definition, a soul. Mortal human souls are able to recharge expended energy by connection with the bodies’ in-spir-ation of oxygen. Death occurs when the body no longer delivers oxygen to the brain. Without the life energy provided by in-spir-ation, the body ex-spir-es and the physical components dissociate into the elements of the earth – water, hydrocarbons, iron, sodium, etc. Without the body’s active neural networks, the soul is inactivated.

However, it is not destroyed or insensate. The soul is not mass. It is energy so cannot be destroyed.

Like lightening and household electrical current, it is grounded until reconnected to a material substance that reactivates its current and action on external objects.

Mortality can thus be defined as the condition of the person / soul being only temporarily connected to the life-giving spirit.

Immortality, then, can be defined as the soul being permanently connected to the energy spirit.

The Singularity is by definition the infinite – in time and space – source of all energy / spirit / life. Only the Creator God outsources immortality.

  • Where “word” is etymologically defined as “symbolizes and communicates a meaning usually without being divisible into smaller units capable of independent use“] and
  • Energy recognized on the full spectrum as Sound
• and the Word was with God
  • as energy sent out from the source in discreet bundles converted into mass,
• and the Word was God.
  • but these pieces of God’s energy remain in him, under his control and ultimate disposition
• The same was in the beginning with God.
  • teaching of the unity of creation in God is emphasized by repetition
• All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
  • expression of soul’s desire to create by him / Singularity, Creator.
• In him was life / energy; and the life was the light /consciousness, awareness, ability to form relationships of men / humanity.

Humanity is the highest expression of the Creator’s outsourcing of himself.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over…the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode [permanent residence] with him.” (John 14:2)

This is known in religion as being “indwelt by the Holy Spirit” as the means to eternal life. Scientifically, this can be expressed as connecting to the Singularity source of infinite energy. The Bible describes this as being changed from mortal to immortal.

“The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly…changed…For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (I Corinthians 15:47-49)

We know from experience that animals have souls housed in different kinds of bodies from our own.

Religions throughout history have also taught that spirit beings, AKA angels and gods, have souls that are housed in different kinds of bodies.

“All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial:” (I Corinthians 15:39-40)

Much, much more on this in later posts. At this time, just take note that, by applying scientific principles, we can deduce that all souls, not just animals but also hyper dimensional beings, need to tap into an energy source just like human beings.

What happens when hyper dimensional beings disconnect from the universal infinite source of energy?

Since they do not have terrestrial bodies, they can’t renew their energy through sun-resourced ecological processes.

We can only deduce that hyper dimensional beings must maintain life-sustaining energy resources through a symbiotic process with mortal beings who can tap into ecological processes on earth. This is a well-known biological condition, which in religion is called “spirit possession”. The presence of a hyper dimensional entity is evidenced by physical, emotional and cognitive abnormalities which may be severely disabling or super-humanly enabling.

“they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:” (Matthew 8:16)

 “a man with an unclean spirit…had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him…he [Jesus] said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.” (Mark 5:2-9)

” a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying…But Paul…said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers.” (Acts 16:15-19)

Biologically, this condition is known as a symbiotic relationship between two species.

Symbiosis Definition

interaction or close living relationship between organisms from different species, usually with benefits to one or both of the individuals involved.

• Obligate is when each of the organisms is unable to survive without the other.
• Facultative is when the two species engage by choice, and can survive individually.
• Endosymbiosis is when one of the symbiotic partners lives within the body of the other.
  • Intercellular is within the cells, like HIV viruses.
  • Extracellular is outside the cells, like parasites in the bloodstream
• Ectosymbiosis is when one organism lives on the body surface of the host,
  • including the lining of the digestive tract which is open to the exterior from beginning to end,
  • or mucus or sweat glands.
• Mutualism is when both symbiotic partners benefit from the interaction, often resulting in a significant fitness gain for either one or both parties. Mutualisms can take the form of resource-resource relationships, service-resource relationships, or service-service relationships.
• Parasitism is when one of the organisms benefits at the expense of the other.
  • Unlike predation, parasitism does not necessarily result in the death of the host and it is often imperative to the life of the parasite to keep its host alive. May involve
    • direct infiltration of the host body to feed off tissue,
    • influencing behaviors that benefit the parasite,
    • or kleptoparasitism, in which the parasite steals food or other resources from a host, such as energy. Malaria is a prime example of debilitation caused by a parasite.
  • Ectoparasites, such as fleas, may act as a carrier or vector, transmitting intercellular endoparasites such as bacteria and viruses to the host, often causing significant damage or death.

Vampire legends may be seriously considered to be accounts of demon-possessed individuals as apex predator hosts directly feeding their demonic parasites on the richest source of life – the blood.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls…Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.” (Leviticus 17:11-12)

When we apply the scientific laws of the universe we understand that the above statements are not religious rituals designed to teach esoteric concepts. “The life of the flesh is in the blood” is a medical reality.

 Blood is necessary to transport oxygen from the lungs to the cells of the body. The cells then use the oxygen for metabolism and produce carbon dioxide, which is carried back to the lungs through the blood and exhaled. Blood also supplies the cells with nutrients, carries hormones, and eliminates waste through other organs…

Losing 30-40% of your blood volume will induce a traumatic response…

Beyond 40%, the body won’t be able to sustain itself…The organs will begin to fail…Once you’ve lost 50%, your…heart will stop pumping, organs will shut down, and death will be likely.

Having enough blood is just the start. Keeping blood healthy is as real to the perpetuation of life as eating healthy meals on a regular basis or, contrarily, eating toxic substances that end life.

Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) is always fatal, and most people with the disease die within one year. There is no cure for Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. It is caused by eating prion-contaminated beef from cattle infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE).

All ancient cultures/religions offered blood sacrifices to their deities.Ancient Africans, Greeks, Aztecs, Indians, Christians, Muslims, and so on believed blood sacrifices had a powerful effect on deities and they offered their best animals to them…

blood sacrifices are not based on superstition but are founded on instinctual knowledge…

Without blood, we die. Blood transports nutrients and oxygen to tissues, regulates body temperature, and transports antibodies that fight infections. In ancient Chinese spirituality, blood was referred to as a denser form of Qi (Vital Life Force). The ancient Chinese knew that blood is the material form of the life force present in all living things.

Since blood is the material form of the universal life-force, it was/is offered to deities to enable them to materialize and influence the material world. Without blood, it is difficult for many spiritual beings to influence the material world because they won’t be able to materialize for long. This explains why the ancients offered blood to their gods during drought, war, or any catastrophe. The blood offered to these deities enabled them to materialize and influence the activities of the physical world by bringing rain, peace, or any good thing the ancients wanted…

Andrew Hennessy – in his article The Reptilian Blood Legacy -writes ‘the Elite Priestess or ‘Mother Goddess’ in the hierarchy who performed rituals for the brotherhood at the highest level, told me that without human blood the reptilians/satanic entities cannot survive in this dimension…

We can understand the means by which animal sacrifices and ritual drinking of blood incorporates alien entities into human blood by applying our knowledge of infectious disease transmission routes.

Some routes of infection carry higher risks of infection than others.

The risk of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) through unprotected anal intercourse is…as much 18 times greater than vaginal intercourse. The reasons for the increased risk are well known and include such factors as:

• The fragility of rectal tissues, which allow the virus direct access into the bloodstream through tiny tears or abrasions
• The porousness of rectal tissues, providing access even when undamaged

An unbiased evaluation of all possible causes for this deadly trend in behavior leading to chronic illness and death must factor in the possibility of evil spirit possession.
