Kingdom Come

In 70 AD, exactly as Yeshua spoke it into being about 40 years earlier on “this generation”, more than 2 million Jews who had rejected YHVH’s Savior and his message of salvation through righteousness died from disease, starvation, slaughter or torture by crucifixion, More than 1 million Jews were sold into slavery, which led to today’s Diaspora.

But before this specific episode of punishment for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was inflicted, YHVH maintained the rules of order written in the law of Moses when condemning an offender.

“One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.” (Deuteronomy 19:15)

Forty years earlier John the Baptizer / Elijah and the Christ / Prophet in the likeness of Moses preached repentance and return to YHVH to Israel to avoid the condemnation.

The requirement for two witnesses provides for the strongest likelihood of justice for the accused.

Unlike the Inquisition where no witnesses were required – only accusers,

Certainly this provides an opportunity for the accusers to accomplish a personal agenda.

Since one of the penalties that the Inquisition could enforce on the convicts was the confiscation of their property, which became Crown property,it has been stated that the creation of the Inquisition was a way to finance the crown…it may be one of the reasons why the Inquisition stayed for so long. This hypothesis notes the tendency of the Inquisition to operate in large and wealthy cities…Gustav Bergenroth editor and translator of the Spanish state papers 1485–1509 believed that revenue was the incentive for Ferdinand and Isabella’s decision to invite the Inquisition into Spain.

Regardless of one’s religious opinion on the historic Jesus, the documented evidence of his mistrial is indisputable.

“And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. 

• For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together…
• the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 
  • And Jesus said, I am...

Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? YE have heard the blasphemy: what think YE? And THEY all condemned him to be guilty of death.” (Mark 14:55-64)

Keep in mind, this was the same religious leadership who heard John the Baptizer’s testimony that Jesus was the Christ.

“And this is the record of John, when the Jews / religious leadership of Israel sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?” 

The three options queried by the leadership are based solidly on scripture.

1. Daniel’s timetable for Israel’s deliverance from foreign subjugation by Messiah / Christ the Prince, i.e. the Seed of the Woman who reclaim dominion over the whole earth as the Son of God.
2. Malachi’s first key witness Remember ye the [a singular] law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 
   1. “The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken [respond]”(Deteronomy 18:15)
3. Malachi’s second key witness “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers,
   1. lest I come and smite the earth [in this context the land of Israel] with a curse.” (Malachi 4)

“And he / John confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ [of Daniel]. And they asked him, What then?

1. 1. Art thou Elias [of Malachi]? And he saith, I am not.
   2. Art thou that prophet [of Moses]? And he answered, No.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 

• he that sent me to baptize with water, [for repentance of sins] the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 
• And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” (John 1:19-34)

So the religious leadership had been told by the most highly respected prophet of the day. The problem is, they refused to accept his message – repentance.

“And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he / Jesus taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? 

The answer was “John the Baptizer” prophesying the fulfillment of the predictions of Moses and Elijah, which they already had.

“And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John [for repentance of sin in order to identify with / be baptized with the Holy Spirit of the Son of God], was it from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying,

• If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? 
• But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.” (Luke 20:1-8)

First of all, what’s the point? More importantly, legally his sole witness was inadmissible, either at that time, or during his mistrial shortly after.

 ^“If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not [legally acceptable as] true…There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.” (John 6:30-34)

Sometime in the future there will be a repeat of two men with the spirits of Elijah and Moses in the ultimate end-game – screaming at the top of their lungs to the religious leaders to call on YHVH’s Savior as Lord instead of trusting for security on the military alliance with the latest, greatest and last iteration of the Roman, Empire. The center of activity will be a rebuilt temple.

^“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee…Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For / Because…Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord / YHVH. (Matthew 23:37-39)

1. “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein [appraise how closely they align to my instructions].
2. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.” (Revelation 11:2-3)

We can be sure that this latest temple will, like the previous, be built by permission of Israel’s current political ally which procures concessions from hostile opponents to allow construction, provides military protection against attacks, and promotes itself as the Savior from War and Securer of Peace. This will be another monument to hubris, no house of prayer, another den of thieves raking in a fortune from tourism. The culmination of the corruption of Israel’s relationship with YHVH is turning the Singular YHVH’s worship into

1. ecumenical acceptance of all gods
   1. “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” (Isaiah 42:8)
2. a tourist attraction
   1. “his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things [not the beauty but for the disgrace they are in so many ways?} verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” (Matthew 24:1-2)
3. and den of thieves.
   1. “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” (Matthew 21:12-13)

This is one aspect of the abomination that makes Israel desolate,

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” i.e. “Jerusalem compassed with armies then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.” (Matthew 24:15, Luke 21:20)

We have to read and understand the “stories” in the Old Testament to understand their looming prophetic fulfillment.

From Zechariah chapters 1-4:

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple…Ye men of Israel…

• The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus…
• those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. 
• Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing / renewal / resurrection shall come from the presence of the Lord. 
• And he shall send…the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began…

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead…their rulers, and elders, and scribes…the high priest…commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus [from the dead]… HIM – NOT Antichrist –  hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost – NOT the deceptive “life” force from Antichrist –  whom God hath given to them that obey him. 

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.” (Acts 4-5)

• “And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, [may be short hand for stating that they call down fire] and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.” (Revelation 11:5)
• These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy” (Revelation 11:6)
  • And Elijah the Tishbite…said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” (I Kings 17:1)
• and have power over waters to turn them to blood (Revelation 11:6)
• and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will (Revelation 11:6)

The supernatural events brought about by the witnesses are the requisite signs to the Jews proving both the greater power of Christ over Antichrist and their identification with the national God of Israel YHVH who empowered his prophets in the past. But it takes times. Remember the Exodus. How many contests of wills, with the violence escalating?
