- Day One:
“In the beginning God created the heaven [singular] and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” (Genesis 1:1-2)
The book of Job internally confirms the translation that “was” means “came to be” formless at the beginning of creation.
- “when I laid the foundations of the earth…
- the sea…brake forth…
- the earth…is turned as clay to the seal; [soft and wet] (Job 38:4-14)
Peter references a flood in the context of “the beginning of the creation,” so this is not the flood of Noah.
“…there shall come in the last days scoffers…saying…all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished...” (II Peter 3:3-7)
World-wide sedimentary layers matching borders across continents provide geological evidence of a series of world-wide floods prior to the breaking up of Pangea, the original single landmass.
The ancients understood what was going on.
- Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness
- rebellion against me, saith the LORD / YHVH / Creator
- I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
- Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled:
- suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.
- I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.”
- I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved
- I beheld, and, lo, there was no man [ha Adam, referring to human], and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
- I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness,
It is argued by well intentioned stout believers in biblical Creation that, despite the repetition of circumstances even word for word, Jeremiah’s prophecy doesn’t apply to the events of Creation.
This passage has been used by supporters of the gap theory to support their position…gap theorists conclude that this must refer to some cataclysm that overcame the world after Genesis 1:1. However, context is the key to understanding. Jeremiah 4 describes the impending destruction of Judah because of Judah’s disbelief.
This analysis is so focused on denying long ages for the earth that it ignores the fundamental construction of any and every literary work.
theme refers to the central, deeper meaning of a written work. Writers typically will convey the theme of their work, and allow the reader to perceive and interpret it, rather than overtly or directly state the theme. As readers infer, reflect, and analyze a literary theme, they develop a greater understanding of the work itself and can apply this understanding beyond the literary work as a means of grasping a better sense of the world. Theme is often what creates a memorable and significant experience of a literary work for the reader.
Sometimes it can be difficult to determine the difference between the theme and subject matter of a literary work. They are both closely related to each other; however, the subject matter is the topic that is overtly addressed and presented by the writer whereas the theme is the meaning or underlying message that is imparted through the writing.
The subject matter of a written work is what the text is about and is, typically, clearly indicated by the writer. The theme of a literary work reflects why it was written and what the author hopes to convey on a deeper level to the reader without direct statements. A reader may infer and a writer may imply a theme within a literary work. However, the subject matter of a literary work is not inferred by the reader or implied by the writer; it is overtly stated and understood.
The difference between the subject matter of Genesis 1 and Jeremiah 4 is:
- the Singularity’s Creation and salvaging of the universe after rebellion by his celestial offspring
- “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens” (Genesis 2:1-4)
- Whoa! There’s a clue! Generation = “a form, type, class, etc., of objects existing at the same time and having many similarities or developed from a common model or ancestor (often used in combination): a new generation of anticancer drugs; a third-generation phone.”
- and the Singularity Creator’s offer of salvation from destruction due to rebellion by his human offspring.
- “If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove…lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings…Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves…Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction…The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer…he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate…without an inhabitant.
The theme, however, necessarily remains the same: “the establishment of the kingdom of God”. The theme is recognizable despite the change of scenery and actors by the repetition of key ideas and forces driving the plot forward to the climax and conclusion.
The plot is rebellion against Creator / YHVH / LORD.
“watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice...because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD…Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee…my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children / sons of God / angels and human and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.” (Jeremiah 4:16-25)
When we read these Bible passages through the lens of energy consumption and conservation we recognize that God is not arbitrarily lashing out a punishment because he is offended. He is bewailing the inevitable consequences of actions taken by beings who were granted freedom to act.
The Enuma Elise validates the Bible’s report that God did not create a dark, formless, void universe and elucidates what the Hebrew text takes for granted.
Enki / Lucifer attacked the earth with waters as the forces of destruction. “Then the lord raised up the flood-storm, his mighty weapon.”
Be forewarned! Rebellion is invariably unsuccessful, resulting in destruction of the rebels who have only a finite supply of energy / weaponry. On the other side we have the infinite Singularity who has an inexhaustible supply of energy / weaponry.
In other words: construction during evening – destruction during night – reconstruction during morning.
Morning – That’s a wrap!
Day One ends with victory against the forces of destruction.
“Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring [Lucifer] to know his place…from the wicked their light [energy, ability to act] is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken. Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?” (Job 38:11-17)
“And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” (Genesis 1:5)
Singularity Energy God intervenes to minimize the damage that can be caused by consequences of entropy running riot into chaos, using a variety of energy forces.
“And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:3)
“who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?…And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?” (Job 38:8-10)
“Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend…By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.” (Job 37:3-10)
Photo of Antarctica, where in a complete circle the breadth of the waters / oceans are straitened (con-strained from taking action as by a strait jacket) by a wall of frost / ice.
Hast thou entered into the treasures [stores] of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures [stores] of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?…Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen…” (Job 38)
Job’s sparse biblical account of ice used as a weapon was written during a retreating ice age not long after Noah’s Flood, so understood without requiring explanation by his readers. For us later readers, Job account of creative eras followed by destructive forces is validated by geology.
There is geological evidence of ice ages. The main evidence for glaciation is from particularly characteristic sediments which are formed by glaciers, and they’re preserved in the geological record…
The most recent glaciation is the one we are living in now…
One significant outcome of the recent ice age was the development of Homo sapiens…[Interesting correlation with Day 6.]
Bear in mind, once “time” is defined as a measure of destruction then we must acknowledge that time did pass during the nights of Genesis 1.
But since time is a measure of destruction, this time cannot be used to support Evolution.
Evening – Beginning Day 2, establishing defenses
“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven.” (Genesis 1:4-5)
Job’s account of creation, which gives us much more detail, solidifies (that’s a pun) this interpretation of a hard firmament.
“Has thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten [metalic] looking glass?” (Job 37:18)
Night: Opposition from the forces of destruction faced and defeated.
Note that the text documents that God made this project. In the context of the hyper dimensional battle going on at this time, one way God could have made an impenetrable wall firmament is by lining up a defensive shield wall. Maybe the Romans got the idea from their gods.
Interesting that the Enuma Elish also reports this action.
Marduk / Zeus is Enki’s / Lucifer’s son, who leads the rebellion for his father and, like his father, claims the victory, and the creation of the firmament for himself. More on this later, for now just focus on the description of the formation of the firmament and its lights.
Marduk strengthened his hold on the vanquished gods [rallied the discouraged losers to get back in the game], And turned back to Tiamat [swirling chaos, source of energy] whom he had bound [constrained like a nuclear bomb]…He split her like a shellfish into two parts: Half of her he sat up as the ceiling [firmament] of the sky [solid, the other half remaining energy], He pulled down the bar [locked it closed] and posted guards [obviously to prevent entrance of created creatures from outer space]
While falsely attributing the kingdom, the power and the glory to YHVH’s adversary, the Enuma Elis nonetheless validates the event described in the Bible.
”Dead things [disconnected from life but not inactive, like vampires] are formed from under the waters [Tiamat, sea of outer space], and the inhabitants thereof…He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. By his spirit [energy] he hath garnished the heavens;” (Job 26:5-13)
With our current knowledge of physics we can understand the firmament is an impenetrable forcefield, described as wind energy in ancient literature and recently validated by the astronomical discovery.
The Van Allen Belts, made by the plasma / matter and wind / energy from the sun is a match for the Enuma Elis’ report of splitting of Tiamat like a shellfish into two halves, two circular sections around the earth.
“I saw how the winds stretch out the vaults of heaven, and have their station between heaven and earth: these are the pillars of the heaven” (Enoch 18:3)
Two donuts of seething radiation that surround Earth, called the Van Allen radiation belts, have been found to contain a nearly impenetrable barrier...a collection of charged particles, gathered in place by Earth’s magnetic field…in response to incoming energy from the sun…
“When you look at really energetic electrons, they can only come to within a certain distance from Earth…”
The team looked at possible causes… the presence of other space particles…appears to be a more likely cause…
Day Three – Terraforming
Evening: restoring the work of the morning
“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear…”
The Popol Vuh, the only Mesoamerican religious book to escape the Spaniards’ destruction of native culture, preserved the report of this event.
“Over a universe wrapped in the gloom of a dense and primeval night passed the god Hurakan, the mighty wind [spirit]. He called out “earth,” and the solid land appeared“…It is worthy of notice that [this] embodies the general aboriginal idea of creation which prevailed in the New World. In many of them the central idea of creation is supplied by the brooding of a great bird [say, a dove?] over the dark primeval waste of waters.”
Night: opposed by rebel forces intent on destroying what had just been formed.
Geological findings indicate that meteors and comets have bombarded the earth, bringing massive quantities of elemental materials. These findings support the biblical prophecies of future recurrences of stars, i.e. flaming objects in the sky, falling to earth and wreaking great destruction.
“the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken” (Matthew 24:29)
An impact event is commonly seen as a scenario that would bring about the end of civilization. In 2000, Discover Magazine published a list of 20 possible sudden doomsday scenarios with an impact event listed as the most likely to occur…
In 1980…[scientists] discovered unusually high concentrations of iridium in a specific layer of rock strata in the Earth’s crust. Iridium is an element that is rare on Earth but relatively abundant in many meteorites…This iridium layer at the Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary has been found worldwide at 100 different sites. Multidirectionally shocked quartz (coesite), which is normally associated with large impact events or atomic bomb explosions, has also been found in the same layer at more than 30 sites. Soot and ash at levels tens of thousands times normal levels were found with the above…
Probably the most convincing evidence for a worldwide catastrophe was the discovery of the crater which has since been named Chicxulub Crater…centered on the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico…180 km (110 mi) in diameter…
In the early history of the Earth.. bolide impacts were almost certainly common… Such impacts could have included strikes by asteroids hundreds of kilometers in diameter, with explosions so powerful that they vaporized all the Earth’s oceans. It was not until this heavy bombardment slackened that life appears…
“…and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
Day Four – Lights in the sky
Evening: the vegetation just created needs sunlight, so immediately the sun is made.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.“
Notice that in the biblical version the sun is not the source but the bearer of light. Science confidently allows that the sun is the source of light, but can’t explain the nature of light. “In simple terms, light is one of nature’s freaky exceptions.”
Reputable scientists have concluded that “Something” had to put the moon in orbit with its precise altitude, course, and speed.“
The Book of Enoch describes the placing of the sun, moon and stars in the firmament in greater detail, where it appears that the stars are called “luminaries”, a category of the celestial beings commonly referred to as angels.
“Bless the LORD / YHVH / Creator, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great…Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain...Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:” (Psalm 104)
We are grossly simplifying God’s creation when we assume that all the angels / God’s ministers look and function like the human males we know about in a handful of biblical accounts. Many angels correspond to animals. We accept that plants are living things, and have discovered that they are also sentient. There is no reason not to believe that other entities created to serve God’s creation and mankind are also sentient beings, i.e. remain connected to the source of life and consciousness, the Singularity.
“we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now…waiting for…the redemption.” (Romans 8:12-23)
This is the first law of the luminaries…I beheld the gates whence the sun goes forth; and the gates where the sun sets; In which gates also the moon rises and sets; and I beheld the conductors of the stars, among those who precede them; six gates were at the rising, and six at the setting of the sun. All these respectively, one after another, are on a level; and numerous windows are on the right and on the left sides of those gates… (Enoch 71)
After this law I beheld another law of an inferior luminary, the name of which is the moon, and the orb of which is as the orb of heaven. Its chariot, which it secretly ascends, the wind blows; and light is given to it by measure…(Enoch 72)
These are the leaders of the chiefs of the thousands, those which preside over all creation, and over all the stars…Conductors of the days and nights: the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the ministers of heaven, which make their circuit with all the chariots of heaven.
Night: opposed by rebel forces.
Again we find that in the Sumerian account of creation that Enki’s son Marduk / Zeus / Satan attempted to replace YHVH’s host with his own during the first race to control space. It is reasonable to accept, as retained in Hindu records, that comets, meteors and meteorites are the circulating debris from such a space war.
He constructed stations for the gods,….Having opened up the gates on both sides…He strengthened the locks to the left and the right….He appointed him a creature of the night to signify the days.
The Greeks called the sun chariot rider Apollo, son of Zeus / Satan.
Morning: YHVH, again, wins his hyperdimensional other-worldly battle.
“And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
Day Five – Fish and Fowl
“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created…every living creature…which the waters brought forth abundantly…and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
Night: This would indicate massive sudden die-offs, which we should expect to find as fossils. There is geological evidence of catastrophism.
Morning: Survival, or resurrection, or remaking of some, as happened through the flood of Noah.
“And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”
Day Six – Land Animals & Mankind
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so…and God saw that it was good.”
Night: opposed by rebel forces. Again, this would indicate massive die-offs, confirmed by the fossil record.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion.” (Genesis 1:26-31)
And then YHVH stepped back and let humanity take charge of protecting their Earth and their families.
Obviously, we humans need all the help we can get.
