33) The Days of Noah

Noah 1056 AM – 2006 AM

“the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose…And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.  (Genesis 6:1, 12)

What does “all flesh had corrupted his way” mean?

Unfortunately, if you turn to Bible commentaries to find the answer, you will be assaulted with a barrage of opinions based on the limited historical and scientific knowledge at the time of the commentator.

If we stick with the original report and the hermeneutical interpretive processes outlined in the prologue, we will find that the evidence for a determination of “corrupted” has been documented in the narrative.

The available reported documentation on which this judgment is based must be found in Genesis chapters 1-5. This can only be God’s production and intended reproduction of all flesh after their kind, documented as good in Genesis chapter 1.

And God created

  • every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind
  • every winged fowl after his kind:..

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply

  • the beast of the earth after his kind,
  • and cattle after their kind,
  • and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind:

God created man in his own image, God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over…every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

And God saw everything that he had made and, behold, it was very good…And on the seventh day God…rested.” (Genesis 1:21-31)

But by the time of the flood, everything wasn’t good any longer. It was “corrupt, destroyed, ruined.”

The sexual connection is further proven by tracking the same Hebrew word translated here as “corrupt”  / שָׁחַת through its translations into English as spilled, or coitus interruptus to prevent God’s planned parenthood

And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he שָׁחַת spilled / destroyed it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him.” (Gen 38:7-10)

“But…Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God….And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.” (Genesis 6-7:1)

This statement that Noah’s family was right, not corrupted, as well the next statement separating out some clean animals from the not clean in the rest of the herd, establishes the fact that all flesh refers to all types of flesh, not every single individual.

  • Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female:
  • and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.(Genesis 7:1-2)

This categorization is assumed by some to refer to the animals allowed, or not, for sacrifice, since only clean animals were sacrificed at the end of the flood.

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour.” (Genesis 8:20-21)

However, we should understand that at this point in the data-driven analysis, only a correlation, not a causation between Noah bringing more clean than unclean animals on the ark and using them for sacrifices has been documented.

There is much confusion in the understanding and correct usage of causation and correlation…

Every time we see a link between an event or action with another, what comes to mind is that the event or action has caused the other. This is not always so…

Causation is an action or occurrence that can cause another. The result of an action is always predictable, providing a clear relation between them which can be established with certainty…

Correlation is an action or occurrence that can be linked to another. The action does not always result to another action or occurrence but you can see that there is a relationship between them.

At the same time that Noah sacrificed only clean animals to the LORD, all animals – clean and unclean – were allowed for consumption.

“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them…Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.” (Genesis 9:1-3)

We can’t backdate Mosaic law for the nation of Israel in Leviticus 11:46-47, 20:25-26 to the law given to all peoples of the world in Genesis 9:1-3.

Using the Bible as a thesaurus, we can discover the meaning of “clean” and “unclean” and how they are connected.

  1. “Good, clean,” resulting in God being pleased and taking a rest, contrasted with “not good, unclean, corrupted” resulting in God changing his attitude, i.e. being very unhappy, and taking corrective action.
  2. The same Hebrew word for clean is also translated pure when used to describe gold that has not been alloyed with another metal, by which we can induce that not pure indicates the presence of other substance.
  3. Incorporating unclean things makes the soul “abominable” and “unholy.”

In the English Bible the word abominable / abomination is translated as “loathesome” or “detestable”. But that just describes God’s reaction, it doesn’t explain why. What caused the intense, spontaneous spewing out the gut reaction?

Although the Bible was written at a time when knowledge of all things spiritual was contemporary and so well-known as to not need explanation, fortunately there remains a trail of evidence for what has since become ancient and obscure to us.

The first mention – a chief clue in any mystery – associates it with the well-known cultural practice of not sharing a meal with people of another religion.

“And they set on for him [Joseph] by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.” (Gen 43:32)

Eating incorporates the substance being eaten into the body of the eater.  We recognize the physical effects of eating foods that lead to either increased physical strength and health, or obesity or malnutrition and sickness.

And, while lost to contemporary culture, foods most certainly incorporate the spiritual essence of God and imitated by the gods: life. The Israelites and the Egyptians and other religious practitioners throughout time acknowledge the spiritual effects of consuming foods for the purpose of incorporating the life of God or the god(s) into the eater. This is consistent with New Testament teaching that the sacrifice of Yahweh’s Dedicated Savior transfers eternal life to us.

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:53-54)

And many of his readers react by gagging.

But Jesus is a good educator. He is not only using the known practices of the day to relate to himself: “eat MY flesh, drink MY blood”, for those of us unfamiliar with those practices he is using concrete language of “eating” to explain the parallel abstract concept of “absorbing life”.

Many writers…mix abstract language with somewhat concrete language, but they don’t become specific enough…only when readers can picture a specific scene, your writing becomes engaging and colorful.

  • “He that “eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood” = “dwelleth in me, and I in him”
    • the eaten and the eater become permanently merged into each other
  • As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that “eateth me”…shall live by me.
    • despite being sent away from the Father, the source of all life, Jesus is still connected to him
    • As…so, in the same way any human that connects to Jesus will also be connected to the source of life even after he ascended to heaven.

.But there does seem to be more than mere imagery in the teaching about eating = unity, as we find examples where the physical act of eating, in actuality, creates unity.

“two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus…And…Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him…And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him.” (Luke 24:14-31)

In this case, the trigger to knowing – becoming united with – Jesus was receiving blessed bread from him. We should intrinsically understand from common decent human behavior that blessing acknowledges, i.e. connects, the one giving the blessing to the giver of the blessing. The source of the gift of life may be invisible, but the gift and giver are as real as any person to whom gratitude and appreciation are due.

Unlike the Christian prayers taught to children that invariably start with “Thank you for…” and go on to request “please bless…”, Jewish prayers acknowledge the relationship, the unity that consists in not only acknowledging the receipt of an act of goodness, but reciprocating in like manner. Like bringing flowers or desert to the hostess of a dinner party. Person #1: “Thank you!” Person #2: “Oh thank YOU!”

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְ‑יָ אֱ‑לֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם הַמּוֹצִיא לֶחֶם מִן הָאָרֶץ:

Blessed are You, L-rd our G‑d, King of the
Universe, Who brings forth bread from the earth.

The person who prays in this manner acknowledges responsibility to reciprocate the gift of life by giving life back. How?

who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?…therefore...present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable servicethat good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 11:35, 12:1-2)

Now, with this background, can we understand that the Mosaic code wasn’t copying Hammurabi’s previously established ritual to lend religious solemnity for credibility, but following true spiritual guidelines in the give and take between humans and spirit beings.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holyif ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord…It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire. And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted. Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.” (Leviticus 19:1-8)

It should be obvious on the face of it that in the Middle East’s hot climate, eating meat on the third day without benefit of refrigeration to prevent decompensation would mean eating spoiled food.

The USDA notes that there are two types of bacteria: pathogenic bacteria and spoilage bacteria.

We should be able to make the comparison between

And this is not just an abstract concept. The Bible teaches that, in reality, consuming ritually prepared foods is a fast track to being merged with a hyper dimensional spirit being.

“Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank.” (Daniel 1:8)

the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” (I Corinthians 20:20-22).

A modern Pagan gives a good explanation of what casual Christianity has lost sight of.

The common meaning of sacrifice is “to give up.” We pour a libation, giving up the opportunity to drink the wine in order to give it to the gods…

The older meaning of sacrifice is “to make sacred.” By dedicating something to the gods through ritual and ceremony it becomes sacred – it takes on some of the essence of the gods. Some of that divine essence then returns to us

I’m glad modern Pagans are talking about sacrifice. Whether we “give up” or “make sacred” or both, regular sacrifices will strengthen our relationships with our gods and goddesses.

Group participation in a meal in which the substance has been dedicated to God or gods through ritual sacrifice or prayers joins all the consumers to the spiritual source of power, and to each other is basic to all religions.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread…

the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles [open air market, source unknown so possibly from pagan temples as one of the priests’ source of income], that eat, asking no question for conscience sake: For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake. But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it.” (I Corinthians 10)

Virtually all religions forbid non-members to participate in these meals or ceremonies because they are not worthy of being blessed by the sacred presence.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” (I Corinthians 11:29)

Proving that the newly converted Gentile believers in Yeshua were worthy is why it was so important for Peter to eat with them.

when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision [a subset of Jewish believers in Yeshua as Messiah who insisted that conversion to Judaism was required for salvation] contended with him, Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with themBut Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning… When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.” (Act 12:1-18)

Peter’s subsequent failure to eat with Gentile believers was a public statement that he had changed his mind, and decided that the Gentiles were not full converts, but at the most only initiates, who had to take further steps, such a circumcision, before they could become full-fledged members of this particular mystery cult promising to share the secrets to attaining resurrection to eternal life.

“when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.” (Galatians 2:11-12)

Collateral information in Leviticus also links “unclean” and “abomination” with reproductive and non-reproductive sexually aberrant acts associated with pagan practices.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel:

  • And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife…
  • And the man that lieth with his father’s wife…
  • And if a man lie with his daughter in law
  • If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
  • And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
  • And if a man lie with a beast,
  • And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
  • And if a man shall take his sister…
  • And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness / menstruatingthey shall be cut off / quarantined or banished to avoid contaminating others in the sight of their people:
  • And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
  • And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife…
  • And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing…they shall be childless.

And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.” (Leviticus 20)

Before condemning the one ancient law code most people have any awareness of at all, consider the alternative. There was a time when all members of society were required to subject themselves to the gods’ demands through worship practices and rituals to meet their objectives.

And sex is definitely part of pagan rituals.

Author Vivianne Crowley says in Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Age…”the sacred marriage is outwardly a marriage of two people, but inwardly it is a marriage of the two within one person.”

Ritual sex…can be used to raise energy, create magical power, or find a sense of spiritual communion with a partner…In Her Hidden Children, author Chas Clifton writes, “Many Pagan religions include invocation and possession by their gods. Wicca, in particular, extends that possession to sexual acts…uniting in their bodies the cosmic and the most personal energies of planetary life.”

Uh, no. Scientifically speaking, the spirit beings that disconnected from the infinite Singularity source of energy have only a finite amount of energy for use by their personal selves. They need to replenish and increase that life energy by taking it from living beings. Possession, or at least draining of energy of a single human being is easily expanded to other humans during sexual connection with its intense arousal and discharge of emotional and physical energy.

This can be understood through the traumatic experiences of persons who have performed in porn movies, been gang raped  or subjected to orgies for the sadistic pleasure of cruel tyrants.

The shocking new upcoming documentary-series, Secrets of Playboy, is set to lift the lid on the dark side of the notorious brand and its founder, Hugh Hefner, including accusations of him ‘demanding orgies’at the mansion five nights a week, which became ‘protocol’.

She also witnessed first-hand how his sexual demands would turn nasty, and admitted he ‘scared me at the end…

“He (Hefner) really did believe he owned these women. We had Playmates that overdosed, that committed suicide.”

These are all common elements of pagan rituals.

The earliest known springtime public sex rituals took place in ancient Egypt. Early Egyptian mythology includes a tale similar to the story of Noah. The sun god, Ra, recoiled from humanity’s wickedness and killed almost everyone along the Nile…the few survivors…engaged in public, orgiastic sex that repopulated Egypt.

In commemoration, every spring as the Nile flooded, the Egyptians held fertility festivals involving public drunkenness, dancing, and group sex. It’s not clear what proportion of the population participated, but according to ancient historians, many did.

Ancient Greece, where Dionysus was the god of wine, pleasure, fertility, and religious ecstasy…Dionysus rides a chariot followed by dancers—the women naked, the men with huge erections. The god’s acolytes…celebrated him during festivals called orgia (orgies).

In early Rome, the fertility god was Liber…Liber’s springtime festivals culminated in a sacred ritual involving a married noblewoman and a priest doing the deed in public with the community watching.

Around 200 B.C., the Romans adopted Dionysus, changing his name to Bacchus…Bacchanalia…took place monthly featuring public drunkenness and communal lasciviousness. Ultimately, Bacchanalia devolved into mass rape of both women and men…In 186 B.C. when Rome had almost one million inhabitants, Livy reported the arrest of 7,000 Bacchanalians, around 1 percent of the population, most of whom were executed…

springtime fertility rituals continued. In some, priests petitioned the gods for good harvests during ceremonial public sex with temple prostitutes. In others, some revelers repaired to newly planted fields for drunken orgies.

When abomination is translated from the Hebrew word Shiqqutẓ it has a very proscribed meaning. In each of its 28 occurrences it refers to manifestations of the gods in physical form and involves sex. The following passage is just one example.

king Solomon loved many strange women,

  • together with the daughter of Pharaoh,
  • women of the Moabites,
  • Ammonites,
  • Edomites,
  • Zidonians,
  • and Hittites:

Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these

1722_moloch2And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.” (I Kings 10:23-24, 11:1-9)

“Thus saith the LORD God; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day:” (Eze 20:30-31)

Notice the hybrid features of the Canaanite gods as with the Egyptian.

Could these images actually represent chimeras – individuals who truly, biologically, are a mixture of two genetically distinct types of cells? An indication that this might be the case is reported in numerous myths and by many secular historians.

Hani Miletski argues that the abundance of information from around the world leaves no doubt that bestiality has been an “integral part of human life” since the dawn of civilization…Cave drawings from the stone age…Paintings and carvings of human-animal sexual acts in ancient religious temples…

Bestiality was practiced in Babylonia, the ancient Empire in Mesopotamia…during the Spring Fertility Rites of Babylon, dogs and other animals were used for constant orgy for seven days and seven nights. The Book of Leviticus describes bestiality as being very widespread in the country of Canaan…

Ancient Greeks and Ancient Egyptians both incorporated bestiality into their religious practices. Ancient Egyptians engaged in “worshipful bestiality” with the Apis bull in Memphis, Egypt, and with goats at the Temple of Mendes. Similarly, Ancient Greeks engaged in bestiality during religious celebrations and festivals…several Egyptian kings and queens had a reputation for engaging in bestiality, and Egyptian men were known to have sexual intercourse with cattle, other large domesticated animals, crocodiles, and goats…

Although bestiality was particularly widespread among the shepherds, Roman women were also known to keep snakes for sexual purposes. Bestiality flourished as a public spectacle in ancient Rome, where the rape of women (and sometimes men) by animals were used to amuse the audience at the Colosseum and Circus Maximus. Similar to Ancient Egyptian leaders, many Roman emperors and their wives were known to engage in bestiality or to enjoy watching others engage in bestiality, including Emperor Tiberius and his wife Julia, Claudius, Nero, Constantine the Great, Theodora, and Empress Irene…

Arab men believed that intercourse with animals increased virility, cured diseases, and enlarged their penises. Likewise, among the Muslims in Morocco, fathers encouraged sons to practice sexual intercourse with donkeys to make their penises grow. Some nomad tribes in Africa incorporated intercourse with cattle as a ritual of passage for young males. Adolescent males in Ibo (Nigerian tribe), for example, had to “successfully” copulate with specially selected sheep in front of a circle of elders. Among other tribes, it was custom for hunters to engage in sexual acts with freshly slain animals while they were still warm. This custom was seen among the Yoruba (tribe in Nigeria), Plains Indians, the Canadian Indian tribe of the Saulteaux, and the Crow Indians. As for the Native Americans and Eskimos, bestiality varied from tribe to tribe, but was largely socially acceptable and went unpunished among Navajo Indians, Crow Indians, Hopi Indians, Sioux, Apache, Plains Indians, the Canadian Indian tribe of the Saulteaux, as well as the Kupfer and Copper Eskimos.

Perhaps the Mosaic law doesn’t sound so prudish anymore?

The amatory adventures of the Roman gods under the outward semblance of animals cannot but be regarded with the suspicion that an undercurrent of truth runs through the fable, when the general laxity of morals of that age is taken into account.

  • Jupiter…under the form of a bull…an eagle…a swan…a speckled serpent…a satyr (half man, half goat),
  • Neptune, transformed into a fierce bull, raped Canace; he changed Theophane into a sheep and himself into a ram, and begat on her the ram with the golden fleece. As a horse he had connection with the goddess Ceres, who bore to him the steed Arion…took the form of a bird…as a dolphin.
  • Saturn begat the centaur (half man, half horse) Chiron on Phillyra whilst he assumed the appearance of a horse;
  • and many more examples could be added to the list.
  • According to Pliny, Semiramis [incestuous mother/wife of Nimrod and “Mother of Harlots” who instituted what became world-wide paganism at Babylon] prostituted herself to her horse;
  • and Herodotus speaks of a goat having indecent and public communication with an Egyptian woman. Strabo and Plutarch both confirm this statement.
  • Pausanius mentions Aristodama, the mother of Aratus, as having had intercourse with a serpent,
  • Such was the case also with Olympias, the mother of Alexander, who was taught by her that he was a God, and who in return deified her.
  • Venette says that there is nothing more common in Egypt than that young women have intercourse with bucks [male sheep and goats].
  • Plutarch mentions the case of a woman who submitted to a crocodile;
  • and Sonnini also states that [male] Egyptians were known to have connection with the female crocodile.
  • Vergil refers to bestiality with goats.
  • Plutarch quotes two examples of men having offspring, the one by a she-ass, the other by a mare.
  • Antique monuments representing men copulating with goats (caprae) bear striking testimony to the historian’s veracity;
  • and the Chinese are notorious for their misuse of ducks and geese.

Biblical accounts of righteous angels with composite forms validate the pagan accounts of their gods / fallen angels with the same or similar composite forms. The most well known examples are the serpents, dragons, seraphim and cherubim. These bear striking similarities to mythical creatures.

In the following ancient carvings of cherubim, notice how the Assyrians, Babylonians and Syrians all depict them guarding the tree of life, just as described in Genesis 3, and also depict some of the same zoomorphic features described in Ezekiel 1:10, 10:10-20, and Revelation 4:6-8 – man, calf, eagle and lion.

The angelic sexual connection to corrupt, unclean, abominable is confirmed internally by the linking the days of Noah with days of Lot.

“as it was in the days of Noe….also as it was in the days of Lot.” (Luke 17:26-28)

the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedinglyAnd the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous…I will…שָׁחַת destroy itAnd there came two angels to Sodom at even…the men of Sodom compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know themThen the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven…God שָׁחַת destroyed the cities of the plain.” (Genesis 18:20-21, 28, 19:1-5, 24-29)

The passage on Sodom is quoted practically verbatim by Isaiah, and unquestionably clarified in the New Testament.

bring them forththat we may know that ye are gods:” (Isaiah 41:22-23)

  1. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
  2. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” (Jude 1:6-7)

It should not come as a surprise that, not only did the fallen angels / aliens take human women by force, but humans lined up to get in on the action.

Humans who want to break the glass ceiling of their four dimensional limitations to expand into the hyper dimensional state must connect to the spirit dimension in some way. Creator God has offered the opportunity to do so by merging our identity with his. Since he is wholly righteous, the only alternative for those who do not want to be righteous is to instead merge their identity with unrighteous hyper dimensional beings.

This is confirmed by A Druid Fellowship, which explains that “Sacrifice is a two-way street.

  1. Not only do we offer to sustain the cosmos,
  2. but we can also use sacrifice to transfer the power of the universe into our own bodies.

Tragically, that is a lie.

In reality, collaboration of humans with the hyper-dimensional gods inevitably allows the gods to take in human spiritual / life energy for the gods’ purposes. Because the gods, disconnected from the infinite source of energy, have no other means of sustaining themselves than by obtaining it through living beings.

And once the god is up and running it’s a chainsaw massacre. This concept is the logical climax of the historically-grounded Game of Throne series.

Ancient legends reveal many details of early human history through what are deemed nothing but imaginative myths by the same intellectuals who dismiss the biblical record of ancient history. There is much to be learned by matching the terse biblical account with the common elements found in other more expansive records.

The key feature is that, just as YHVH collaborated with humans, the gods colluded with humans in their wars to claim dominion over heaven and earth.

An updated version of this concept is fantastically – in every sense – presented by the celebrated author Neil Gaiman in American Gods. His gods are not only based on historic records, but consistent with the scientific understanding of energy beings as detailed in the post Sons of God.

an incarnation of Odin the All-Father…is recruiting American manifestations of the Old Gods, whose powers have waned as their believers have decreased in number, to participate in a battle against the New American Gods – manifestations of modern life and technology, such as the Internet, media, and modern means of transport…

Shadow is bound by his contract…to hold his vigil by re-enacting Odin’s time hanging from a “World Tree” while pierced by a spear for nine days…he is visited by Horus, who has become mad from living too long as a hawk. Shadow…learns that he is…Odin’s son, conceived as part of the deity’s plans…

Shadow realizes…that Odin and Loki have been working a “two-man con“…Loki had arranged for Odin’s murder, thus making the battle between the New and Old Gods a sacrifice to Odin, restoring Odin’s power, while also allowing Loki to feed on the chaos of the battle…

Whether or not Neil Gaiman believes in gods, he absolutely understand the concept that the gods’ interaction with humanity is all about power. Not just emotional and intellectual influence over what people believe and act on, but literally transfer of life energy necessary for the gods disconnected from the infinite Singularity to replace their energy as it is used. Think of it like a vampire or the Walking Dead. The exploitive potential of bodily energy life is just as applicable in the spiritual domain.

Animismthe commonly held indigenous peoples’ belief that spirits inhabit all elements of nature, is consistent with the purely scientific understanding of the energy needs of spirit beings, as well as the biblical.

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption / merged with evil spirits into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (Romans 8:18-20)

But humans are definitely at the top of the food chain. We not only provide physical life energy, but are the prime source of soul energy – emotions, creativity, intellect, relationships. This clarifies the rituals demanded by the gods, in addition to the sacrifices, especially heightened feelings experienced with music and being whipped into a frenzy by preaching, dancing and sex. Who wants to exist as a lump on a log when scintillating human experiences are ripe for the taking?

It is estimated that 108 billion people have been born on planet earth. What a buffet!

“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earththe earth is filled with violence through themI, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.” (Gen 6:12-17, 7:11-12)

The damage that can be caused by flooding is catastrophic.

But even more than that, in its wake it left unmistakable evidence validating the biblical record of judgment. This provides validation of the warning of the final judgment, for which Jesus Christ himself explicitly stated the reasons.

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

  • They did eat: incorporated corrupting substances
